Where are you seeing that "it shows as sent?"   Does the IRS refund site say that your refund was mailed to you?     Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.     You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Did you use the desktop download and did you e-file a state return?   If you e-filed a state return using desktop software there is a $25 state e-file fee; if you chose to pay that $25 fee by having the fee deducted from your federal refund instead of paying the fee upfront using a debit or credit card, then you agreed to pay the extra $40 "refund processing fee" to the third party bank that will receive your refund, take out the fee, and send the rest of the refund to you.    In order to avoid the $25 state e-file fee when you use desktop, you can print and mail the state instead.

Thank you, this is great!   Still one more clarifying question...   "2. To record the second business, create another K1 with the information about the partnership but leave the boxes blank except for Box 20 Code Z information. Here you will record the information about the business, EIN, and so on and so forth."   I understand that you should leave the boxes blank for the numbered boxes, but what about the beginning of the K-1 info, like where it asks the percent share of profit, loss, and capital (J) and then the partner's Capital Account Analysis (L) (Beginning capital account, capital contributed during the year, current year net income (loss)... ending capital account. And (K1) Partner's share of liabilities? I suspect some of these are going to be required. Can we trust Turbotax won't double count this information? Are there any of these we should try to leave blank? Thanks again!

I did my extension taxes on 10/15/2025 and I want to know why I was charged an additional 65.00 dollars plus tax. This is not the first time this happened but the first time I reported this. Turbo tax was sued before for falsely advertising their products some years ago and I see they are still falsely advertising their products and charging customers more money when they file. I will be reporting this because I did not use their FREE software like I did some years ago and at the end of that year, they took 95.00 dollars from my checking account, and the software was indicated as FREE. I purchased this for $79.99 plus tax and had to pay additional money of 65.00 plus tax taken from my refund. I guess they will be sued again but you never get the total refund when in a CLASS ACTION lawsuit. At any rate, this is not over, and I am so tired of buying my Turbo Tax Software from Amazon and must pay additional money to file. This is not right, and this is not OVER! I want my 65.00 dollars plus tax back NOW!

If it was rejected for AGI—-your 2023 AGI might not be in the IRS system if you filed late.   Try using zero instead.   If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year.  The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/where-do-i-correct-my-agi-in-turbotax-online/00/26311   If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.

DID YOU E-FILE?   Did you e-file?   Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”     When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.   Check your e-file status:   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/    What does it say in your account?  Does it show that the return was accepted?   Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”
I finished my taxes in March and it’s now October. Another thing is i can’t do anything cause there isn’t customer support that I can call or text for help.

There were other posts in the forums where it is mentioned that the 7217 can be mailed separately while the Federal return can be e-filed. Could you kindly clarify / confirm ?   Thanks, HK
