I wish TurboTax would discontinue It’s Deductible after this tax year. It’s a slap in the face to every person who has spent hours entering information into the system all year. Now we can’t transfer the info into our tax returns and must re-enter everything. I’m disappointed in Intuit’s lack of consideration for their customers.
Were you able to fix this issue? I ran into the same problem, and none of the answers helped actually.  It shows to me only Canada and Mexico, just like your print showed.
First try not entering anything. If the software doesn’t accept that just enter all 9’s.

How did you group or categorize your expenses on the spreadsheet or total them?    So for 2025 this year are you going to go back to Jan and make your columns match the categories on Schedule C?   I use Quicken.   You can get Quicken 2013 for free.    I don't know what categories you would need but my husband is a Land Surveyor.  Here's how I set mine up (I also put the Schedule C line number in as part of the name).   You could even use these categories on your spreadsheet.  Survey Income Survey Expenses ……..11 Labor ……..18 Office Expense ……..20 Equip Rent ……..22 Supplies ……..24a Travel ……..27 Other - Printing ……..27 Other - Small Tools

I was able to get the MS Extended Security service for Win 10 for free, so is TT going to still push the requirement of Win 11?  That was their reasoning, that MS would no longer providing security updates, well, that's obviously not true, you can them for another year.  So, TT, what's the problem?

So I think I figured out the problem. In the HSA interview, there is a question about Archer MSA contributions but it incorrectly asks for the total Archer MSA and non-Archer HSA contributions. Then TT adds that number to HSA contribution it already has from the W-2, and which of course results in TT concluding that there was an excess contribution. I removed the number in my answer to the Archer MSA question (despite the text explicitly asking for total contribution including to Archer MSA and non-Archer HSAs), and that fixed the problem.

Would just like to reiterate how it feels to have another company jumping ship after supporting its numerous clients for many years.  It is similar to having old neighbors move away, doctors one has dealt with for many years to retire, could go on - INTUIT is just another company leaving us (your customers that rely on you) in the dark.
I have CalPers pension too.   Just enter the amount from box 1 as the RMD.   Anything the pension pays you is considered to be the RMD.
If necessary, I will manually fill out the f8582 pdf that I downloaded from IRS website.

Q. Am I a part time resident of both states? A.  No.  You were a full time resident of IL.  You pay income tax only to IL.    Students, attending out of state schools are still considered full time residents residents of their home state, for income tax purposes, if their primary purpose for being in WI  was to attend school and to return to their home state after finishing school, including vocational schools.    Normally,  an out of state student would have to pay income tax to WI, for any work performed in WI.  But, IL & WI have a reciprocal agreement on income tax.  This means you do not pay any WI tax, but do pay IL tax on all your income, regardless of where earned.

The general rule is: your report all your income on your home state return, even the income earned out of state. You file a non-resident state return for the state you worked in and pay tax to that state. Your home state will give you a credit, or partial credit, for what you paid the non-resident state.   Since your home state, Tennessee, does not have an income tax, you do not file a resident state return and you do not get a credit for tax paid to AL.

Discontinuing ItsDeductible will probably save them more money than they lose by a few defectors. FYI, Intuit's main profit center is NOT TurboTax.

Thank you for your reply.  I could not enter my expenses on Schedule C because my expenses were not grouped in categories that TurboTax had on their forms.   I'm not a tax expert and found it impossible to take my expense categories and convert them to the categories offered me by TurboTax's program.   I paid $60 for an expert from TurboTax to complete my taxes and after explaining my problem to the expert he could not convert my spreadsheet to IRS categories either and told me to go to a local tax preparer to have my taxes done.   I went to H&R Block and they did my taxes and charged me over $500 to do my taxes.   Since I purchased my TurboTax program from Amazon, TurboTax would not refund my cost for their program.   If their tax expert couldn't do it I certainly couldn't do it myself.
Again with this ?  Tried this 3 years ago to get rid of it why ?  ONLY REASON I have remained with turbotax was  ItsDeductible.  Too bad time to look elsewhere.

I agree with other commenters.  If Intuit doesn't have a solution, I am done with TurboTax after many years as a loyal customer.  Deductible Duck, meant to be a ItsDeductible replacement is not a strategy for me as I'm not going pay $30 a year just to track deductions.   H&R Block software will be the recipient of a new customer soon and we have to stand up with our pocketbooks.  Bad enough that these companies abuse the lobbying privileges provided by our government to subvert tax simplification (I have a friend from Australia whose tax return is, effectively, a postcard).   DO THE RIGHT THING INTUIT AND KEEP ITSDEDUCTIBLE FUNCTIONAL OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES OF MANY CUSTOMERS, LIKE ME, LEAVING SOON.
