And  whatever you do---do not click on anything that says "amend" for a tax return that has not ever been filed in the first place.   You do not use "amend" on a return that was not filed.   The only way you are going to be able to file that 2024 state return is by mail.   E-filing is closed.  You will have to print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it to the state in an envelope.
Do you have any suggestion on how to fix (modify) the income being reported? @fanfare

When did you file?     Did you efile?  Was it Accepted?  Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?  You can check your efile status here     https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/      When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.   When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  what does it say?   If it says Ready to Mail that means you are suppose to print and mail your return to the IRS. .

My tax person just ran the losses. No issues so far. But yeah you need a very detailed spreadsheet of losses and request your redemption and payment history for the casino. But yeah she didn't even question and ran it as casino winning and losses and she was 30 plus year retired IRS employee that now does personal taxes
Did you ever get a firm answer about deducting Chumba Casino coin purchases (losses)? Please advise. Thank you.

If "One is a resident and one is a nonresident", which I did not infer from your original post, that changes things. @abhijaypatne

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.  “21 days”  is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.      First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.     You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds   To track your state refund:     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_US_en_US?uid=lt447ebr   If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/refunds-take-longer-others/L14YlqFrH_US_en_US?uid=lexdr7zh . https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/irs-refund-taking-longer-21-days/L2vRAJbdU_US_en_US?uid=lexe7lst

Has anyone actually succeeded in running TurboTax Business on Mac with an M2 processor? I’m thinking of MacOS > Parallels > Windows for Arm > x86 emulation > TurboTax Business. That’s a lot of Installation and setup effort (and, of course, some expense) to undertake without knowing that someone, somewhere has succeeded.   Alternately, has anyone been able to install and run TurboTax Business on a Windows PC in the cloud, such as in AWS?   Buying a little headless PC just for TurboTax Business is my third choice. Probably simpler, but I don’t want to drag around the extra hardware if I can help it.   Thanks.

I was very frustrated by the elimination of the Charity logs through Intuit. But it looks like I've found a new home! http://deductibleduck.com/ They have been very responsive and helpful. I definitely feel "seen" an am happy to be working with a company that is ready to take over.
Yes it is on me.  Since its inception I have never needed back up for my non cash donations. Other than an end of year print out.  Still is no way to treat customers. My opinion remains unchanged.
