When you go into the account you filed them with, can you see 2020 returns? Please only use one thread for your questions. To access your tax returns (current or prior year) you will sign into the TurboTax website with the user ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/ Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF) As an alternative for current year return, when you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a State (You will not really be adding a state). This will take you back in to the 2024 online tax return. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Find the Print Center and choose the year you want to print. If you want your full return including worksheets, choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets. In TurboTax Online, follow these steps to print/view your return and all of the informational worksheets after you have filed: Sign in to TurboTax Scroll down to Your Tax Returns & Documents Select 2024 and then Add a State (You aren't actually adding a State but this gets you back into the Print Center) From the left panel Select Tax Tools, scroll down a little and select Print Center Select Print, save or preview this year's return Select the 2024 Federal and/or State return box Choose to Include TurboTax and government worksheets Select View or Print Forms

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals. Some states process returns quickly and some are very slow.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund. Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?

Please be more specific. What state do you live in? What state did you work in? Some states have reciprocal agreements. There are also some states with no state income tax. We need to know which two states are involved. In general, if you live in a state with a state income tax and work in another state with a state income tax, you need to file a non-resident tax return for the state you work in and a resident tax return for the state you live in.
No---there is not just a "general understanding" of your situation by the IRS or the states.
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”

I filed for both state and federal returns at the beginning of March and already received my federal return around March 23rd. I haven't receieved my state return, though, and can't find a way to track it. When should I receive my state return? (It was listed as "accepted" on the same day my federal return was.)

TurboTax does not get any information from the IRS after you file your tax return, so no one at TT knows about a notice that was sent to you by the IRS. TurboTax cannot intercede with the IRS for you. Provide some information here---what is the letter number on the notice? What does it say? Do not include any personal information in the user forum like your name or SSN.

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
https://www.irs.gov/refunds
To track your state refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing

Hi, I am an international student on a fellowship in the USA, and am making interest from CD products. I do not have to pay any tax since I am NRA, but I could not include the 1042 form in my tax return since I received it late from the bank. Would I have to amend my tax return or is it alright for now?

And as for the medical expense question-----if you itemized medical expenses on a tax return and included that expense, but were later reimbursed for the expense by insurance, then the amount reimbursed would be taxable. But you are only supposed to enter medical expenses that you already paid out of pocket. You should never enter medical expenses that are outstanding.
