The 'credit for allocated share of tax paid by an electing flow-through entity' is not currently supported.   It is possible to enter the Michigan tax withheld that was reported to you.   In TurboTax Desktop, you may enter the tax payments by following these steps:  Deductions and Credits, then Estimates and Other Taxes Paid, then Estimates, then State estimated taxes for 2025.   In TurboTax Online, follow these steps:   Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal. Down the left side of the screen, click on Deductions and credits. Click the down arrow to the right of Estimates and Other Taxes Paid. Click to the right of Estimated Tax Payments. Click to the right of State estimated taxes for 2025.

The entry of items into the online version of Turbo Tax is horrendous. Even with the cancellation of the time saving program of ItsDeductible.   I am already at 4.5 hours and not even 1/2 way done itemizing entries.  The design and function of the entries is atrocious.   1. The list of items per vendor is not separated by visit so it becomes EXTREMELY long because each visit donating the same type of item is a different line.  2. Then you placed the add item button at the bottom of the entire list. 3. There is no import function to import a spreadsheet to get around the above problems. 4. I can’t select the item from looking it up in the list and then have to type it again in the description. 5. The requirement to verify the Good Will address after EACH ENTRY is a pain.   I pay extra for the Home and Business which should have kept ItsDeductible.

Yes, the annualized method will calculate quarterly payments so that you would be required to make (or have made, if you are using this to lower the tentative penalty for 2025) higher payments during the time of the year when your income is higher and lower payments when your income is lower.    The Federal quarterly estimated tax payments for the 2025 tax year were due on April 15, 2025, June 16, 2025, September 15, 2025, and January 15, 2026.    The dates are the same every year, except that if the due date for making an estimated tax payment falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the payment will be on time if you make it on the next day that's not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday.   See this IRS FAQ page for more information on estimated taxes.   @TaxFiler5467

Hello: I am not able to figure out how to enter Caterpillar and Abbvie dividends under the "Business and Investment Credits" in IL Tax return form.  I had taken these credits in TurboTax last year.   There are multiple lines listed under "Business and Investment Credits".  Which one should I select to enter Caterpillar and Abbvie dividends?   It would have been grate in Turbo Tax automatically picked these up from last year's return.  :(

@ bjgganny  wrote: Hello I just filed my taxes last night and I’m trying to cancel to receive five days earlier. I did not know it was a 35 dollar fee. if it is possible  There's only a $35 fee for the "Up to 5 days early" offer if you chose for the refund to go directly into your own bank account.   If you choose the option that deposits in a Credit Karma Money checking account, there is no fee.     Have you received notice yet on whether your efiled return has been accepted or rejected?   If accepted, it's too late to change it.  If rejected, however, you "may" be able to change that option, correct whatever else made it reject, and resubmit.   If you are stuck with that option, and if your Federal refund fails to arrive at least 1 day earlier than it would have if it came directly from the IRS, then TurboTax says they will not charge the $35.
No longer having ItsDeductible available has added HOURS to my enter online.   I need to go to bed and continue later.   Will all of my details and entries still be there tomorrow?

Bonne chance.
I keep getting a request to enter "details" onto or from #30 into a form 1116 (?1666?). I don't think I have that answer, and I want to start over. How do I do that?

@ ilivetolovejdh04 wrote: I tried tracking my refund on the IRS wheres my refund but it keeps saying the info I'm putting in is not matching their records but I entered the same that is on my tax papers so idk?    Are you referring to a 2025 refund?   If so, first be sure your 2025 return (if efiled) was accepted.   If you used Online TurboTax, what does it show for the status at the Tax Home of your Online TurboTax account?   Does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or something else?   Or if you used desktop software and efiled, you can check the efile status inside the software or in emails you may have received after filing.   Or did you choose to file by mail instead?   When using the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool, be sure you enter the correct tax year, SSN, filing status, and the Federal refund amount from your Form 1040, Line 35a.   Do not use a summary figure that TurboTax shows you on a screen.  Look at your actual return. https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If you meant in your original post to elicit suggestions as to how to report the sale of specific items classified as collectibles on Schedule D:   Yes, it's appropriate to consider collectibles as capital assets and to report the sale on Schedule D. Capital assets include personal items like stocks, bonds, homes, cars, artwork, collectibles, and cryptocurrency. You need to report gains and losses from selling these assets.   If you hold assets for a year or less, they're considered short-term and usually taxed at ordinary income tax rates. If you hold them for more than a year, they're long-term and typically taxed at a lower rate.    The IRS classifies collectibles as tangible personal property—such as art, antiques, coins, stamps, wine, and gems—that appreciate over time. Sales of these items held over one year are taxed as long-term capital gains at a maximum rate of 28%, significantly higher than the standard 15%–20% rate. See IRS Topic 409 for more information.   You may need to use Form 8949 (TurboTax will enter information on that form for you based on your answers to interview questions) to detail each capital asset transaction, including company name, acquisition and sale dates, purchase price, and sales price.   See this TurboTax tips article for more information.   @exsocal8

I'm unable to find the form 3468 equivalent in TurboTax premium online. Can you clarify whether the anticipated fixes will apply to the online version as well or not? Will I eventually be able to amend with the form in the online version? If I were to switch to the desktop business version with the stated issue, does it problem apply to form mode as well? Or will both platforms require a later amendment?
