Yes. Schedule K-1 Box 13 Code K is used for portfolio deductions that should be reported on Schedule A. If you are not itemizing your deductions, or if the amount will not change your totals, you can omit this entry. Be sure you check the Supplemental Information that came with Schedule K-1 to be sure there isn't income related to this deduction that you do need to report.
Yes, if you are using TurboTax Online you have to be online in order to work on your return.  If you are using the TurboTax Desktop program you do not have to be online to work on your return.

That would be a print and mail proposition but at least safe. The 8824 and cover letter alone could easily get totally lost and probably would.

It sounds like one of your annuities is held inside an IRA account, as opposed to being non-qualified annuities.  If this is the case, then the IRA Box on the Form 1099-R would have been checked.  IRAs and Pensions & Annuities are separated on Form 1040 to because in some respects they have different tax treatments, penalty rules (like early distribution exceptions), and rollovers.

You are welcome! If Form 2210 doesn't show a penalty on Line 19, and therefore there is no penalty on the 1040 Line 38, then there is no cause for concern. The form provides the calculation to determine whether there is a penalty. As I stated earlier, it's possible to have a penalty even if there is no tax due with the return, if estimated taxes are required and any of the installments was late or an insufficient amount.   The 2210 doesn't need to be included with the tax return unless you checked a box in Part II, for example, to request a waiver or to select the annualized income method of calculating the penalty. If you did, using that calculation method probably eliminated the penalty.   See this TurboTax blog article for more information.   @Wedding5500

During the "File" step, do not choose the option to "Pay with my Refund."    Paying immediately with a credit/debit card eliminates the service fee charged. The fee is because TurboTax must use a third part bank to process the accout.  The fee is the bank processing fee.  When prompted about receiving your refund up to 5 days early, choose to skip or decline this option to avoid the associated fee. Look for the "View payment options" link in the File section to change your payment method.

If you are having trouble importing your 1099:   Make sure you are selecting the correct entity, there are some entities that have similar names.   You also need to consider that both TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop support up to 10,000 of any combination of transactions and imports.  If your file is larger, you will not be able to import it.   Check to see if your web browsers require permission to let a website send data to a program on your computer.  See the following TurboTax help article for more information.   Make sure that your pop-up blockers are off.   Switch to a different browser.  Make sure that you enable third-party access to your brokerage account information. If these do not work see the following TurboTax help article for more troubleshooting ideas:   What if I can't import my 1099? How can I fix my 1099 import issue?
