Try booting you device into safe mode with networking, then open TurboTax again and see if it will go  through activation. This worked for me.
Worker for me, as well.  Why can't it just work every time?
The Form 1099-R section is estimated to be finalized and available in TurboTax on 01/21/2026

@nouranaeem583 , not knowing the full  situation, just can say that  (a) IRS full  accepting and begin processing does not start till 01/26 ; (b) most states depend on IRS processing to start their own processing and lastly (c) IRS refunds   take generally two to three weeks ( including  processing)  to be disbursed. Are you in the USA or back in your home country ( which country )? Is there more I can do for you ?

This is an automatic process and you are probably not being successful because you should not be trying to upload a file manually.    Quick Employer Forms (QEF) is designed to pull your 2024 data directly from the Intuit cloud, not from a file on your computer.   Instead of uploading a file, use the built-in "Import" or "Transfer" feature within the QEF interface: Sign In: Access Quick Employer Forms using the same Intuit ID you used last year. Navigate to My Businesses: On the left navigation bar, select My Businesses. Use the Import Button: Look at the top of the page for a button labeled Import Business or Import from 2024. Select and Transfer: A list of businesses you created in 2024 should appear. Check the boxes for the businesses and payees you want to bring into 2025 and click Import or Done.
I need an answer to my question. You are billing me $75.97 for something I now find out won't work on my iMac.

Opus pointed out that there are two different types of FSAs which are treated differently. Please tell us if you have a health care FSA (for paying medical bills) or a dependent care FSA (for paying dependent care bills). Until you tell us which one you had, we can't be sure of your issue.   Based on what you have said so far, it sounds to me that you have a dependent care FSA. As Opus asked, do you have a dollar amount in box 10 on your W-2? (My guess is yes). When there is an amount here, you have to complete form 2441 to show that this amount (or part thereof) was covered by documented spending on dependent care. Did you go to the Child and Dependent Care interview, and what questions and answers did you make there?   If you had an entry in box 10 on your W-2 and did not correctly complete the Child and Dependent Care section, this would cause the amount in box 10 on the W-2 to be added to your income, as Opus said at the end of this post.
-- since I am the one creating the K1 in TT Business -- did I enter something incorrectly?

My spouse was a nonresident alien (now resident). She has received multiple 1042-S from her brokerage. We are filing an amended MFJ 1040 for 2024, because I inadvertently filed MFS and besides the additional tax, my IRMAA went way up this year. Which Box 2 income do we use to report her realized gains, as there were 2 1042-S for 3-7-25 and 3 for 3-12-25. Does one supersede the other, or must we report the total income on all 5 forms?    Also, according to this, we may not have to report anything because her investment income was her only 2024 income? Thanks.   If You Receive Form 1042-S, Does That Mean You Have U.S. Tax Obligations? "No, this does not trigger automatic U.S. filing requirements. As mentioned above, certain types of income received are passive in nature and are subject to a flat tax corresponding to the statutory 30% withholding. If that constitutes the entirety of your US-sourced income, you likely do not have a filing requirement, since IRS already has their money. " (I see there some small amounts of withholding on the 1042-S forms.)

You can send a 1099-NEC to your contractor using the Quick Employer Forms (QEF) tool.   For the 2025 tax year (filing in 2026), you are generally required to issue a 1099-NEC if you paid an unincorporated contractor $600 or more for services related to your rental property.    Accessing the QEF's depends on which version of TurboTax you are using.   TurboTax Online (Premium or Live):  Sign in Go to the Wages & Income section Look for Self-Employment or Rental Property You will see a link that says "Create W-2s and 1099s for my employees or contractors." TurboTax Desktop (Home & Business or Business):  Select Create New Return  Choose the option "Prepare W-2s and 1099s for my employees or contractors."  This will launch the QEF website in your browser.

@dac10012 , What I get from your multiple posts ( thank you ) is : (a) you a US person is married to an NRA  adjusted to  US person ( GreenCard)  in Aug 2025. (b) you were married in 2024 (c) for 2024 you filed  MFS and considering  amending to MFJ  (d) for 2025 you wish/plan to file MFJ (e)Spouse was  ( for 2024) and is ( for 2025 ) employed by an international  organization, wages not taxed by the US and treated as NRA till status adjustment in Aug 2025 (f) Spouse has personal investment income ( for 2024 and 2025 ) and generally reported on 1042-S. Assuming above is substantially correct  ( or correct me , if I mis-understood ) : 1.  Take on board the following -- > Employees of foreign governments or international organizations | Internal Revenue Service and  -->  Employees of a foreign government or international organization - How to report compensation | Internal Revenue Service 2. Note that the "exemption" covers only compensation  i.e. active earnings and NOT personal  investment / passive incomes.  NRAs are taxed  on US sourced income while US persons are taxed on world income.  There is however one nuance  --- NRA's  US tax-home  file form 1040-NR and generally are taxed just like normal --- the 30% flat fee on passive income is mostly applicable for purposes of  form 1042-S but not necessarily for  actual tax return -- depends on actual facts and circumstances. 3. Since spouse had personal income prior to becoming  Resident ( GreenCard)  -- US sourced -- these are still subject to US taxes.  Thus I see no reason / justification to recognize ONLY those  personal incomes actually taking place post status adjustment --- recognize all non-wages / passive and US sourced income for the whole calendar year and Wages only post status adjustment. 4. SE taxes are due on wages  earned as Resident. 5. Absent a request ( signed by both of you ) to treat spouse as Resident for the whole calendar year ( and thus exposing ALL wages for the whole year to US taxes ), there is no way to file MFJ and thereby use the standard deduction for the whole year.  My sense is that you would be better served ( tax liability wise ) to file MFS for the 2025 and from 2026 go the MFJ route.  However, I would also suggest that you try it out both ways to see which gives you the better outcome.  Does this make sense ? Is there more I can do for you ? pk

I assume that you are entering the HSA interview repeatedly. In the HSA interview, there is a screen that asks "Was [name] covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) in 2025?" I assume that you answer "Yes", right?   Then, two screens later, you are asked, "What type of HDHP coverage did [name] have during 2025?"   What did you answer here? Different plan types at different times of the year? Checking this is likely to reset the HDHP coverage for each month until you enter it again.   When you close the return, happy with the HSA numbers, and then reopen it to see a different refund, where is the exact location that changes from time to time on the 1040? We need to determine exactly what is changing, because the month by month HDHP coverage is probably changing because you reopened the HSA interview.

That should include an icon of a folder which you should click on to open the folder where the download should be. If none of this works conatct support
