Which year(s)? Also, did you save your .taxXXXX files?   Also, TurboTax only supports tax years 2022-2025 so you might run into issues installing tax years prior to 2022 with respect to activation.
I keep getting emails saying Form 5695 is ready and I can log in to finish my taxes but every time I log in whether online or the app it shows “available soon.”  Any ideas what’s going on?
Is it correct to say that it allows you to delete the current form (information) and start over?

Yes, for the lump-sum distribution, you would not indicate 'periodic payments'.  For the single payment, TurboTax may then go on to ask if it was a disaster or hardship distribution to see if there is any early distribution penalty (if applicable).   If you can be more specific about your situation, we'll try to help further.        @SerottaD

DID YOU E-FILE?   Did you e-file?   Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”     When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.   Check your e-file status:   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

They been having problems and glitches with it not applying correctly, I’m seriously think on taking legal steps, as it is significantly hindering the ability to file federal taxes or ensuring that taxes that are filed are being calculated correctly, I’ve already filed a complaint on IRS.gov so there is a paper trail as I feel this is going to result in another class action litigation against TurboTax again for targeting people then not fulfilling their obligations especially for people who paid for TurboTax tax.  If taxslayer, H&R Block, quickbooks and various public account firms can get it right no reason TurboTax should have this ongoing issue for 3 years.

I would say the 1099-R section is somewhat updated with this morning’s update.  While it transferred all the payers from last year and indicates needs review, it doesn’t allow you the ability to edit (and/or delete) existing information.  It will allow you to import or manually enter that information again, but once entered again, it doesn’t allow you the ability to edit.  It’s the same with the charitable deduction section, it transfers last year’s charities and states needs review, but doesn’t allow you to edit anything.

Did you already e-file?   If you have NOT e-filed you can go back to the income section and edit your entries.   If you already e-filed: Did you click that big orange button that said “Transmit my return now?”  If you did that, you cannot do anything to fix it yet.  You have to wait for the email that tells you if your return was accepted or rejected.   Since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject returns until January 26, you are going to be waiting in “pending” for awhile.  Your return is sitting on a server, where you cannot fix  it or get it back.   You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it.  It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner.  The IRS does not allow you to take it back.   If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.”  The changes will go nowhere.   Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return.  If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.     If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund.  THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail  it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally.  You will need to use a form called a 1040X.     Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself.  Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed   The Form 1040X you need becomes available in late February,  But wait until your return has been processed.
I made a mistake to but can'r seem to go back and change it

This is what you say above:   i amended my 2023 tax return when i submitted electronically it was rejected because they wanted me to put in my pin i tried to go back and now it won't let me updated or efile again previous    Your own description that you amended in order to add an IP PIN is the source of the confusion.   We cannot see any of your information or your tax returns, so we only have what you tell us to go on.   We do not know if you finally successfully e-filed a timely 2023 return that needed to be amended for some other reason at a later time, or if you simply lack understanding of what amending a tax return means.      You can keep trying to e-file---likely with no success-- or you can print sign and mail your return.

I own a unit in a condotel at the base of a ski area. This is the first year I’ve rented it. The bookings have all been less than 7 days. The ski area maintains the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, advertises & obtains guests, collects monies, etc. for a substantial percentage of the rent collected. Which schedule? Turbo tax AI is giving conflicting advice, depending on how I phrase the situation.

No, most likely you cannot include Aflac insurance premiums in your medical deductions because Aflac policies normally pay a flat indemnity for hospital stays unrelated to medical bills.    The following is the wording shown in IRS Publication 502, on page 9: You can't include premiums you pay for policies that pay you a guaranteed amount each week for a stated number of weeks if you are hospitalized.
