I have followed the instructions for resolving Error 190, reloading a specific State software, but it doesn't help. Still can't access my tax return.

"Five days early" did not mean you would get your refund in five days. You misunderstood.
"5 days early" means you are supposed to receive your federal refund from one to five days sooner than the refund date shown on the IRS refund site. If it does not meet that "at least one day sooner" date, they are supposed to refund the $35 fee.
You have to pay attention to the date on the IRS refund site.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

You are correct that actual ownership is marked where necessary. The IRS has long required the social of the first taxpayer listed to be on the forms. Of course, this was before kids and spouses were even verified. Now with modern times, a spouse can have their own form!

@asifhassan76, Thanks for that info. Based on your post, I was able to find 2 files, 'prd.ini' and 'prd.ini.signature' in the 'C:\Program Files\********\64bit' folder. It is possible that TT 2025 fails to install/generate one or both of these files in some cases. I cannot say if this was the case for me or not as I didn't know about these 2 files and the expert and their supervisor both never asked to me to look for these 2 files. You mentioned you were asked to run a command to generate these on your PC/laptop. Would you be kind enough to post those commands here? That may help others, or even ourselves in the future, who run into similar issues. It should be noted that until atleast early Feb 2026, TT 2025 installers for ALL versions of TT 2025 were broken. Similar to TT 2024, one would expect that TT 2025 will be installed by the installers in 'C:\Program Files\TurboTax\Individual 2025' folder. If this folder path does not exist, the installers are supposed to create it. That's what TT 2023 and TT 2024 installer did. However, the TT 2025 installers, atleast until early Feb 2026, were installing TT 2025 in 'C:\Program Files' folder. I manually created the correct path structure, i.e. I manually created 'Individual 2025' folder inside pre-existing 'C:\Program Files\TurboTax' folder and forced the installers to install TT 2025 in this folder, but that did not solve the issue for me. Maybe additional security on my laptop configuration did not allow the installers to create either 'prd.ini' or 'prd.ini.signature' or both on my laptop since the installers were not themselves creating and installing TT in the correct folder. Additionally, it is highly likely that some parts of the installer were ignoring user provided installation location and were trying to install/create some files in user provided installation location while trying to create/install others in the default folder structure that was programmed into the installers. That would result in situation where the files 'prd.ini' and 'prd.ini.signature' referred by @asifhassan76 would either not be created or created in wrong location. Both of these are wild guesses at this point since I am not willing to reformat everything, readjust the security settings and reinstall TT 2025 just to test either of these theories/conjectures. However, I would definitely encourage Intuit to run such tests. That should be part of normal development process in any case. I am not sure if the issue about incorrect installation folder has since been fixed or not. But it is worthwhile to note that some security software and security settings will prevent installations and changes directly to 'C:\Program Files' folder. They will allow proper installation and changes inside sub-folders within 'C:\Program Files' folder and they will allow creation of sub-folders within 'C:\Program Files' folder but they would block creation or installation of files directly into 'C:\Program Files' folder. I cannot say if that is what was causing my issue, but Intuit should atleast check basic things like installation location, etc. in the installers before releasing them.

@BarryHasMoved wrote: Turbo seems to be good with a way to split Interest and Dividends, but not so much for Capital Gains Distributions. Yeah, you're right. You may have to do an override on your MA return to accommodate the two distributions you received (one as a resident and the other not). That might involve printing and mailing the return instead of e-filing.

I think that's it. Checking my records, for all the K-1s I have received, the income has always been listed under nonpassive income and the amount appears in both box 1 and 14. Almost all of them are at a small loss so self employment taxes didn't come into play. My earned income only decreased to this small amount for the past two years as I was paid on a fellowship, so it didn't matter before. In this case, the software still thinks I qualify for the credit as initially calculated because now the $5,000 dependent care benefit is all taxable income and feeds into the earned income calculation. Is the software correct in doing so? Or as you said, my earned income should never include the $5,000 whether or not it's taxable? On a separate note, is active/passive member designation based on actual participation and can be changed easily? I ask because I am technically a member-manager of the llc but have very limited participation. Thank you so much again for walking me through this.

Spoke with TurboTax today but, I still don't know if this calculation error has been verified. I want to send an AMEND CT for 2025 but I need TurboTax to verify the correction in their system.
