@diana_lee_perez    It's automatically added based on the birthdates you enter.   Note that the new Sr 6,000/12,000 deductions shows up on a different line than the usual Std Deduction.   The normal Std Ded is on your 1040, line 12e, and the additional 6,000/12,000 deduction is on line 13b.

@donnaleighgresh    Unfortunately, that's a newly-discovered software bug.... (at least I happened upon  it for the first time yesterday from another user's post..& tested to see it's happening in both the "Online" software, and the "desktop" software)   If you enter some 'item" donations....then  delete some charity you are not using this year, then ALL "item" donations disappear.   The only Workaround I can see, is to make sure you delete all charities you aren't using this year, then enter your "items"  . ________________________   Other:   I noted that stock donations are now lumped with "Items" in the online software.  But in the Desktop software, there is a stock donation selection separate from the "items" selection.   IF done there, the  stock donation isn't deleted if a different charity is deleted...but that's only in the Desktop software
TurboTax treats the code-W amount as an excess HSA contribution subject to tax and penalty until you complete the HSA section of TurboTax to indicate your eligibility for an HSA contribution.
This did NOT work for me.  Same error when clicking on 'Done with Income'.   If I restart, and then jump to Deductions and Credits,  same error with clicking 'Done' .   What a piece of junk.
