I chose to do the Refund Advance option through Credit Karma. My state and federal taxes were accepted, and I haven’t seen anything from Credit Karma. I reached out to them and customer support said that the Advance Refund process has not been completed. Can you please help me complete it, so I can get my advance?

Check the birth date that you entered in your personal information. To get the deduction for seniors you had to be 65 or older at the end of 2025.
The maximum deduction for seniors is $6,000, or $12,000 if married filing jointly and both are 65 or older. The deduction is gradually reduced if Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) is over $75,000 ($150,000 if married filing jointly), so if your income is over that amount you will not get the full $6,000 per person. The deduction is reduced to zero if MAGI is $175,000 or more ($250,000 if married filing jointly).

If you don't have the email from last year that states the rejection error code, TurboTax Support should be able to tell you. https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/contact/ Often its because of wrong prior-year AGI entered for verification, but could be other things like wrong or typo'd SSN, a dependent issue, SSN used on another return, IP PIN issue (if applicable), etc. The state return rejected because the Federal rejected. When efiling, the Federal return has to be accepted before the state return is even considered. That being said, if you have to correct something on the Federal return, you may have to correct it on the state return, too.

You may have misunderstood. It had nothing to do with the State return for 2025, because I had not yet begun the state return. A little more detail may help: First, the problem is on a Step-by-Step screen. Go to the FEDERAL TAXES tab, Wages & Income option, Your 2025 Income Summary. Below, that, there is a line for 1099-MISC and Other Common Income, Tax refunds, 1099-G, 1099-Misc, 1099-NEC, 1099-K. Below that, is another line for State and Local Tax Refunds on form 1099-G. There are 2 columns on that line, one for 2024 data and one for 2025. After the Turbotax 2025, desktop, was installed, before any data had been entered, the 2024 column showed a refund amount, forwarded from my 2024 return. The 2025 column showed “Available now”. I clicked on the “Update” button, and went to the screen for Summary of state and local tax refunds. The screen showed a total of $869 for 2024, State of Maryland. I even deleted the amount and re-entered it. The amount was not carried back to the 2025 column on the line for State and Local Tax Refunds on form 1099-G and “Available now” was still there in the column for 2025. I even deleted the refund data on the, Summary of state and local tax refunds screen, exited the screen, came back and re-entered it with the same results. It appears to be a bug.

It depends- you may or may not have information to add to these sections. If you have no income or expenses for a certain section, you do not need to add anything.
If you do not have a lot of expenses, the standard deduction ($15,750 for single filers, $31,500 for married couples, and $23,625) may be the best. If you are taking the standard deduction, it is not required that you enter expenses, but if you do, TurboTax will compute the highest deduction for you.
If you are unsure about any entry, whether income or deductions, it is best to go through the interview and answer all the questions to make sure.
You should go through the State Taxes section, because the interview will be very helpful in making sure your state return is calculated correctly.

Please let me know if this problem has a solution. I tried filing federal alone as well as fed and state together. I also have the Minnesota property tax form but left that one out with same message that 2025 transmissions are not available. UPDATE. I deleted the MN property tax filing and I was able to transmit the Fed and state. I will have to go back and re file the property tax filing later

Don't use the Documents tab in the left menu column; that's not the right place. If you used Online TurboTax previously and now can't find the past online return(s), then you either didn't proceed far enough into your 2025 online return to find them (you don't have to actually prepare the 2025), or you could have multiple accounts. I'll discuss both scenarios below, so read carefully. And if necessary, I also included info on how to look for multiple accounts. This answer assumes your previous returns were prepared in Online TurboTax. Any return prepared in desktop TurboTax will not be in an Online account. Here's how one would normally find past-year online returns and how to troubleshoot for multiple accounts (User IDs) if necessary. Many people end up with more than 1 account. The pathway to download the PDF or tax data file depends on whether or not you have started an online 2025 return. I provide both scenarios below, so choose which one is appropriate for your situation. If you have not yet started a 2025 online return: Sign in to your account. What you see next depends on whether or not you have already started a 2025 return in that account. If your left column menu is minimal, and does not have a Tax Home tab displayed, that would imply you have not started preparing a 2025 return in that account. If you haven't yet started a return, it will start asking you some questions. Answer those preliminary questions on a few screens (you don't actually have to prepare a return), and then when you are far enough into the process, the left menu column will change, and you'll then see a Tax Home option in the left menu column. Do not click the Documents tab. Instead, click on Tax Home. Then on the Tax Home screen, scroll way down to the bottom to "Your Tax Returns & Documents". Expand that section and choose the past year you want. If your past returns are not shown there, then you likely have multiple accounts and signed into the wrong one. I'll tell you below how to troubleshoot. If you have already started a 2025 online return: Log in, and if you've already started a 2025 return in that account, then it may already open at the Tax Home. If not, click the Tax Home tab in the left column menu. Do not use the Documents tab. At the Tax Home scroll down and expand "Your Tax Returns & Documents." If the past returns are not there, see the steps below. If you do all that and can't find the past return, here's how to look for multiple accounts: You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes. A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be. It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all. To get a list of your User IDs, reset password, and recover account access, etc., you can use the tool at the link below. When using the Account Recovery tool, try using your phone number first if you can still access it. After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access. NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop. Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below. You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session. https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery If still no luck after running that on your phone number you can still access and email address(es) that you can access, here's another method: Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, scroll down a bit, then choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by other parameters.

The 1099-SA is the form for a distribution from your HSA, not for a contribution to your HSA.
If you will continue just a couple of screens *** beyond the 1099-SA subsection, you will come to a screen entitled "Let's enter [your name]'s HSA contributions".
There are two lines here. The first line may be prefilled in; it shows the amount that you contributed by means of payroll deduction, which is shown on your W-2 in box 12 with a code of W. Since this number comes from the W-2, it can't be changed here.
The second line is for contributions that you personally made directly to the HSA administrator. This is where you enter your $9,550 HSA contribution.
After this, be sure to continue all the way through the rest of the HSA interview describing your HDHP coverage and other things until you come to the HSA Summary, then you are done with the HSA entries. This will add form 8889 to your return.
*** the number of screens varies based on the number of 1099-SA screens you see, among other things. Just keep going through the HSA interview, and you should see it.
