I underestimated my 2025 tax liability from a year-end traditional to Roth IRA conversion. However, my 2025 withholding plus estimated taxes (paid Jan 15 2026) is greater than 110% of my 2024 tax liability. Note that I also received a refund on my 2024 tax return (so there was no underpayment last year). Can I request a waiver of the 2025 underpayment penalty? At the moment, TurboTax is showing that I need to pay a penalty. Thanks!

I would think so. That's the whole point of 2FA and authenticator apps. Did you try it?

My paper 1099-R shows $0.01 for boxes 1 and 2a, but Turbotax is complaining about that. If I remove box 2a the error goes away. But is that ok to do?

Yes, repairs to your vehicle can be deductible if you used your vehicle as a self-employed independent contractor (Doordash). However, there are limits to what repair expenses you can deduct.
You will report your income and expenses on a Schedule C form. Vehicle-related costs like mileage can be deducted using either the standard rate or actual expenses (gas, oil, repairs, insurance, phone bills/accessories, and supplies). The standard mileage in 2025 was $0.70/mile.
Thus, you will multiple the actual miles that you drove for Doordash times $0.70/mile to calculate your vehicle-related expenses. Or you may deduct the actual expenses that you incurred while driving for Doordash divided by the total miles that you drove your vehicle.
For example, say you drove 1,000 for Doordash. Using the standard-milage rate method: (1,000 x $0..70/mile = $700 in vehicle expenses). Using the actual expenses method (for gas, repairs, etc.), your calculation may be: ($500 gas + $1,000 transmission repair = $1,500) x (1,000 business miles driven for Doordash / 5,000 Total miles driven) = $1,500 x 0.20 = $300 in actual vehicle expenses.
You can calculate which method provides you with the higher vehicle-related costs. However, keep in mind that You must choose the method in the first year the car is used for business; after that, you generally can switch, but if you start with actual expenses, you're locked in, while using the standard rate allows switching later.

A new, temporary additional deduction of $6,000 for those aged 65 and older (or $12,000 for a married couple if both qualify) is available for tax years 2025 through 2028. The deduction begins to phase out at income greater than $75,000 and $150,000 if you’re married filing jointly. This is in addition to the standard deduction or itemized deductions. The senior additional deduction is automatically calculated by TurboTax and appears on line 37 of Schedule 1-A, then included in line 13b of your form 1040. You can verify that this additional deduction is correctly included by previewing your form 1040. In TurboTax Online, you can preview your form 1040 by following these steps: Open your return In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools On the Tools Center page, click on View Tax Summary In the left-hand column, click on Preview my 1040 Your form 1040 will display. Scroll down to line 13b and you should see the amount of this deduction on this line.
