Did you go through the finish and Review Section? and are ready to file your taxes: Select File from the menu Select Continue next to Step 3 On the We've determined the easiest way to file your taxes screen, make sure e-file is the selected status. Refer to the TurboTax article: How do I e-file my tax return? for more information.   If you went through this section, your returns have been e-filed.

Suggestion did not work.   This is the 2nd year in a row that turbo tax programming forces a review that will never allow taxes to be submitted.  The form will not allow the 0.00 in column B "lowest cost silver."  I should be able to bypass turbotax programming errors and efile, but you force your errors on people.  I researched "fixes" of which I have found none.  This is a waste of money.  This is a waste of money and time. This is rediculous that this is a program that is allowed to function so poorly, regardless of my timing, I should be able to count on what I purchase.  2 years nonfunctional!  I tried correcting it on the full page, the review 5x and again on the full page.  I wish you had my son as a programmer, this would not have happened!

The “senior deduction” is added automatically by the software based on the date of birth and filing status you entered into MY INFO.  You do not need to take any extra steps to enter it. (And…the new senior deduction has nothing to do with whether you are getting Social Security)   The deduction is not on the same line as your standard deduction.  It is shown separately on line 13b.     2025 STANDARD DEDUCTION AMOUNTS SINGLE $15,750  (65 or older/legally blind + $2000) MARRIED FILING SEPARATELY $15,750  (65 or older/legally blind +1600) MARRIED FILING JOINTLY $31,500  (65 or older/legally blind + $1600) HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD $23,625 (65 or older/legally blind + $2000)     For 2025 through 2028 there is an extra  deduction amount of up to $6000 per individual 65 or older filing Single, MFJ, or HOH which is phased out for taxpayers with modified adjusted gross income over $75,000 for single filers and $150,000 for joint filers.   (The deduction phases out completely at $175.000 Single or HOH, or $250,000 joint)   The $6,000 senior deduction will be calculated on 1040 Schedule 1-A page 2 Part V Enhanced Deduction for Seniors which goes to 1040 line 13b. It is separate and in addition to the Standard Deduction or your Itemized Deductions on 1040 line 12e.  Turbo Tax automatically includes it. Tennessee is not listed in the Box 15 dropdown because the state does not have a personal income tax on wages. Because of this, TurboTax typically excludes it from the menu.    If you live and work in Tennessee, follow these steps to proceed: For Boxes 15, 16, and 17 do not enter any state abbreviation, ID numbers, zeros, or spaces. Deleting all characters in these fields should allow you to click "Continue".  If the software still flags an error, it is often because there is a single space or a zero left in one of the state boxes. Ensure Boxes 15 through 20 are entirely empty. Some versions of TurboTax show a small trash can icon at the end of the state row for Boxes 15–17. Clicking this can clear the error loop.  If the error persists, the easiest fix is to delete the entire W-2 and re-enter it manually. When re-entering, simply skip the state section (Boxes 15–20) entirely.
If you did not have Obamacare, you will not get a 1095-A, and you should answer NO to that question and continue filing your return.     What payments are you wanting to claim?

@helpwithtaxes12345   You appear to have changed forum display name.   If the actual 2024 AGI from your original 2024 return is not being accepted, try resubmitting with a 2024 AGI of 0.   That will probably work.   If you have an Online IRS account, you can also see if the 2024 AGI shown in your IRS account matches what is shown on your 2024 Form 1040.  If it's the same figure that is already rejecting, then here's a third option:   If the 2024 AGI of 0 fails, the last thing to try if one wants to efile, is to get an IP PIN (Identity Protection PIN.)  The IP PIN is a "more powerful" verifier than 2024 AGI.   The IRS says it will serve to verify your identity when efiling instead of your prior-year AGI.  If you have an online IRS account, you can get an IP PIN inside your account.    Get an IP PIN:  https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/get-an-identity-protection-pin   If you end up doing that, the 6-digit IP PIN is entered into your return under Federal > Other Tax Situations > Other Return Info > Identity Protection PIN   If all of that fails, then you will have tried all 3 methods and won't be able to efile.  At that point one would need to file by printing, signing, dating, and using postal mail.

Since 12 cents rounds to zero, leave that off your W-2 entry. You'll need to use your paystubs to compute your overtime premium.    To enter your overtime in TurboTax Online, follow these steps:   1. Go to the Income section and start or edit your W-2. 2. Enter your W-2 exactly as it appears.   Since the overtime is not on your W-2, continue through the screens until you reach Let's check for other situations. Check the box for Overtime and select Continue. Enter the total of your qualified overtime. TurboTax will calculate your deduction.   To qualify for the overtime deduction, you must meet these requirements:  You must be a non-exempt employee who is eligible for overtime under federal law (FLSA).  Your filing status cannot be Married Filing Separately.  Your modified adjusted gross income must be below $150,000 or less ($300,000 for joint filers) to be eligible for the maximum deduction, If your income is over $150,000 ($300,000 for joint filers), then the deduction begins to reduce by $100 for each $1,000 of MAGI over the applicable threshold amount. Once your MAGI hits $275,000 ($550,000 for joint filers), the overtime deduction is not available. The pay must be for hours worked over 40 in a single workweek, and only the overtime premium (the extra "half" in time-and-a-half pay) is qualified for the deduction.  Here is an article you may find helpful: No Tax on Overtime Explained: Qualified Overtime Deduction Rules for 2025   If you need extra time, filing an extension by April 15, 2026, moves your submission deadline to October 15. But remember any taxes owed are still due in full by the original April 15 date.
