Your employer must meet specific Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requirements to qualify.  If your employer doesn't meet these qualifications, then you do not have qualifying overtime. Qualified Overtime Deduction Rules   The overtime description is as follows under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA):  'For tax years 2025 through 2028, individuals who receive qualified overtime compensation may deduct the pay that exceeds their regular rate of pay (generally, the “half” portion of “time-and-a-half” compensation) that is required by the Fair Labor Standards Act and reported on a Form W-2, Form 1099, or other specified statement furnished to the individual.' Maybe you are waiting for some forms.  Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.   Many federal and state forms are not yet available.  Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.   Tax form availability tool     Be patient.    IF you e-file now, your return will go into “pending” until the IRS starts to accept/reject returns in late January. You cannot make any changes while the return is on the server. The IRS will start to accept/reject 2025 e-files on January 26.   And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.         https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-announces-first-day-of-2026-filing-season-online-tools-and-

If Jackson Hewitt e-filed your return, and you also e-filed from TurboTax, the first one to get accepted by the IRS will cause the second one to be rejected.  There is no telling which one will make it through the pipeline from "pending" first when the IRS starts accepting returns on January 26.  The IRS will not accept two returns that used your SSN.    A t least one of those returns will be rejected---no way to predict which one.  Maybe both.

Currently, employers are not required to report overtime separately on your W-2.  Please see these steps from 'How do I enter overtime pay in TurboTax Online' for finding and reporting your deductible overtime premium, by using your final paystub of the year:    Your overtime is listed on your pay stub   Use your year-end pay stub. It’s the last pay stub you receive for the year, and it shows your total earnings and taxes for the entire year. You should get this at the end of December or in early January.   If you didn't work at your job all year, you'll use the last pay stub you had from your employer, in the Wages & Income section of TurboTax:    Go to the W-2 screen under under Wages & Income.   Add or edit your W-2 for the employer where you worked overtime.   After entering your W-2, look for the Let's check for other situations screen.   Check the box next to Overtime.   Continue until you see the Let’s see if your overtime qualifies as tax-free screen. Select Help me calculate my eligible overtime.   Look for the What info do you have about your overtime screen.   Choose No to Did you get a statement or letter from your employer with your eligible overtime?   Choose Yes to Do you have a year-end pay stub that shows your total overtime for 2025?   TurboTax will ask you for your overtime that was paid at time-and-a-half and double time, and will calculate your deduction for you. If, however, you have a more complicated situation that includes getting paid at a rate other than time-and-a-half, such as double-time, then you may need to ask your employer to provide you the premium number, or calculate it on your own.  If you are unable to use your final paystub to find your total overtime for the year, the above knowledge article has alternative instructions for deducting your overtime premium, using your own calculations, or statements from your employer's human resources.  Learn more about your eligibility for this deduction, here.
Go ahead and try that.   We cannot ever see your return or your account; we have no idea how far you went with that first return.
I was missing a form and taxes was rejected when jh did them so I got them form and did them myself on turbo tax but it's been pending for days

Assuming your state has no state income tax, and that this box was left blank on your W-2, you should be OK to leave this input blank in TurboTax while prepping your return.    If the software is not letting you move forward with preparing and filing your return due to the missing detail, a workaround is to input your employer's federal EIN -- the number found in box (b) at the top of your W-2.    If your W-2 has an amount in box 17, State income tax, and you normally file a state tax return, then you may have to contact your employer to receive a completed W-2. Otherwise, you might be able to receive a state W-2, including the missing employer state ID number, from your state's taxing agency office.
