Here is how to find and use the bank link feature for your 2025 return.   The link option typically appears after you have finished entering your business income. Go to Wages & Income and select Self-Employment Income and Expenses. Click Edit/Review next to your business. Continue through the screens until you reach the "Your [Business Name] info" summary page. Scroll down to the Expenses section. Look for a blue button or link that says "Connect My Accounts" or "Import Expense Transactions." If you already started entering expenses manually or if the business was imported from last year, the "Connect" button might not be there. To get around this you can: Create a "dummy" business. Select Add another line of work. Give it a temporary name and enter $1 of income. When you move to the Expenses section for this new work, the "Connect Accounts" button should reappear. Once you import your transactions and categorize them, you can move them to your "real" business and delete the dummy one.

Call IRS e-file Payment Services 24/7 at 1-888-353-4537 to inquire about your payment.   If you want to check the debit date you specified, look on the filing instructions for your return.  It will tell you the debit date the IRS or State will deduct the payment.  If you did not print them out you can view them using the following steps:    If you filed using TurboTax Online, the Electronic Filing Instructions page will give that info.   Here's how to view the PDF copy: Sign in to TurboTax and open your return. On the Tax Home screen, scroll to Your tax returns & documents and select Add a State (don't worry, you're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right area) to access your tax forms and worksheets. In the menu, select Tax Tools, then Print Center. On the TurboTax Print Center screen, select Print, save or preview this year’s return. On the next TurboTax Print Center screen, select 2025 Federal return and Include government and TurboTax worksheets, then select View or print forms. The information will be on the first page, Electronic Filing Instructions, for your 2025 Federal Tax Return, next to Balance Due/Refund. TurboTax CD/Download  Go into Forms Mode by clicking on the Forms icon in the top right of the blue bar.   In the Forms in My Return list on the left, click Filing Inst.  [It's usually toward the bottom of the list.]  The form will appear on the right side of the screen. You can view the form on the screen or you can print a copy by clicking the Print box at the bottom of the screen. To return to the interview, click on the Step-By-Step icon in the top right of the blue bar.

As you prepare your taxes in TurboTax Live / Expert Assist, you can quickly connect with one of our credentialed tax experts:   Select the floating Live help button. Select Connect with live help at the top of the chat window. Enter your question or topic area and select Continue. Select your preferred method for connecting with a tax expert. If you connect live with a tax expert in TurboTax Online, the expert will be able to see your screen and review your entries with you.   The process is a little different if you're using the TurboTax mobile app. We have instructions for how to connect with a tax expert on the app.   Here at this Community website, TurboTax Experts, along with experienced users who are tax professionals, and other users answer questions in an open forum. We don't have access to look at your return.

In my 32 story building on 2 acres of land I guess I could own a few square feet. But I believe the developer or COA actually owns the land. I just get a property tax bill with no land listed.   In my case I don't even own the outside of my unit, just the inside best I can tell. The COA seems to own the outside and is responsible for the siding, etc. Buy I'm responsible for the windows...go figger.

When I go to finish and file, it says that I need to fix something with my federal return, and that issue is the 1098-T that I can no longer access so im stuck. I have already paid to file.

If you want to make changes or add a document to a tax return that has already been filed and accepted by the taxing agency, you should follow these guidelines.  You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed.  You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return.  Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return.   The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due  Only make changes to the areas of your return that need to be corrected.  You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment  Select your product below and follow the instructions.  Amend TurboTax Online  Amend TurboTax CD/Download
You would have to look on the attachments to the Form 1099-B. It should be broken out there. Otherwise, you will need to call your broker and request that information.

If you have already addressed all of the areas of your return for which Review asked for more information or corrections, you have checked your Internet connection, and the program is not progressing to the next step, first try the following steps:    Try exiting TurboTax, restarting your device and starting TurboTax again. Try using a different browser. Chrome usually works well. Try clearing your cache and cookies.     If, after completing the steps above, you are still not able to progress past Review, try these additional steps:   Sometimes, if you enter a section and exit it, without making an entry, TurboTax will create a form for the entry that would go with that section, and Review will look for an entry in that form. It could also be that the form was created because of an entry carried over from last year.   If you have blank forms or forms with a "0" that are not needed, such as for W-2G or K-1, you can get out of this by deleting the forms that TurboTax has prepared from your opening the screens that support them.  If you are using TurboTax Online, see this help article and below for the steps to Delete a Form:    Open or continue your return. On Tax Home, select Start, Continue, or Pick up where you left off to enter your return. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form. (Look for any form or worksheet relating to Medical expenses.) Select Delete next to the form, schedule, and worksheet in the list and follow the instructions. If you are using a Desktop version of TurboTax, you can switch to Forms Mode (click on Forms at the top of the screen when you are in Step-by-Step Mode), review the list of forms on the left, then select the one you wish to delete. When the form displays, click "Delete Form" at the bottom of the screen.    If after trying all of the options mentioned you still have the same problem:    See this help article and this one for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support depending on which product you are using.
Even though I entered a credit card number, the program would not let me e-file until I clicked a certain button. I have used TurboTax Deluxe for years and have always been satisfied until now.
If you already took your RMD and entered it through the 1099-R that you received then you can enter zero in that box.
