Has this been addressed yet? I logged in to continue filing but I see nothing new in the web app. I need to declare unrealized staking rewards.

Only the portion of a registration fee based on the vehicle’s value is deductible, not the total amount. RV registration fees that include a value-based tax are also eligible.  The fee must be charged or assessed on a yearly basis. You must itemize deductions in order to take these fees as a deduction.     Other fees often included in an RV registration, such as a weight-based fee, license plate fees, or inspection fees, are not deductible.   The following states have registration fees that qualify: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Washington, and Wyoming.   States like Texas, Florida and New York use non-value based registration fees, so none of their fees are deductible.   See this link: Is my car registration fee deductible? Please return to Community if you have any additional information or questions and we would be happy to help.

Hi I'm a resident alien on an F1 visa for 2025 federal tax purposes. Sorry for posting this again as I might post a same question under a wrong topic previously.   I earned some interest (above $10) from the Chase CD account in 2025 but didn't receive any tax forms. They told me they do not have tax forms for CDs less than 6 months. I only had CDs with terms less than 6 months in 2025. In this case I wonder if I need to pay/file tax for the interst I've earned even if there aren't any tax forms? If so, what is the tax rate (they never withhold anything) for federal and Connecticut state tax? I'd appreciate any information on that!

For IRA, see if the little IRA box between boxes 7&8 is checked.

Yes. Schedule K-1 Box 13 Code K is used for portfolio deductions that should be reported on Schedule A. If you are not itemizing your deductions, or if the amount will not change your totals, you can omit this entry. Be sure you check the Supplemental Information that came with Schedule K-1 to be sure there isn't income related to this deduction that you do need to report.
Yes, if you are using TurboTax Online you have to be online in order to work on your return.  If you are using the TurboTax Desktop program you do not have to be online to work on your return.

That would be a print and mail proposition but at least safe. The 8824 and cover letter alone could easily get totally lost and probably would.

It sounds like one of your annuities is held inside an IRA account, as opposed to being non-qualified annuities.  If this is the case, then the IRA Box on the Form 1099-R would have been checked.  IRAs and Pensions & Annuities are separated on Form 1040 to because in some respects they have different tax treatments, penalty rules (like early distribution exceptions), and rollovers.
