Yes, you can check boxes on the Schedule E worksheet and there are two; material participation and other passive exceptions (if I recall correctly, but the boxes are on that worksheet).

I have the same problem, 1040x is not showing when printing amended return, just 2 blank pages.  It is not an adobe viewer issue; all the other pages/forms show up fine.  In a separate chain I had this response below?  But is it really true that  Intuit knows about it an is working on a fix, any ETC?  Sound like customer support does not know about the issue.       user[phone number removed] New Member       Is anyone else not seeing form 1040X on the print preview for amended return?  This is on WIndows desktop turbotax 2025 3 weeks ago                 gshumaker New Member       Same issue - 2 blank pages where 1040x should be  2 weeks ago                      SharonD007 Employee Tax Expert       Your experience is a known issue in TurboTax and we are working to resolve it as soon as possible.    As soon as we have a resolution for you, it'll be shared on Community.   **Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post **Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer" 2 weeks ago

Thanks AmyC for your guidance... worked perfectly for my desktop TurboTax! Also, thanks to jpoje for stating the problem so clearly and saving me the effort of doing so.

Not sure if you read the original post -   The IRS said my taxable income/AGI was HIGHER than what was calculated with Turbotax, so it wouldn't be adjusting the income 'down.'   Also the IRS did not tell me what was the allowed Roth IRS contribution amount - they don't overtly tell you this, I had to figure this out myself.    So going back to original question - If I amend the 2025 return, the only information I can change is my Roth IRA contribution. I do not know how they determined my LLC profits were higher than what they were, and thus that my taxable income was higher. So I cannot edit that. If I resubmit with my old (lower) taxable income/AGI, would that not be an issue?

I've searched Credits and other Taxes which talks about taxes from other states. No help there.
Thank you @PatriciaV . Just one more clarifying question : Its possible to move back to online version next year right?
