I'd advise returning to your Federal return and stepping through the EIC interview in the Deductions section.  At the end you should get a screen saying 'you don't qualify for this credit' which should prevent it from flowing into your Illinois return.   If you're using TurboTax Desktop, in FORMS mode, you could delete Schedule EIC from your Federal return and your IL returns.    @user17706633330
I'm generating a 1065.   The 199A act form has an UBIA adjustment field that was incorrectly filled in...  It took me at least an hour searching through all of the forms to find the error.
I don't understand why Turbotax is inserting the max allowable contribution to a retirement account (401k) but it exceeds what I actually contributed.

I have run the final review. I suppose it could be just a reminder. I've been ready to submit my taxes since Feb 1st but cannot because of the form 4562 depreciation error which has not been fixed by Turbo Tax yet. I guess I'll have to wait to see if I can submit after that error is fixed.

Yes, it did and the "freak out: here is, I believe, generally because Intuit did not include Merrill Edge in the dropdown import list as they have done in years past.....HUGE mistake to make that change. Despite the fact that the 1099s aren't ready for import, users should be able to see and be assured that their firm is included in the list at the outset.

Were you self-employed or were you a W-2 employee?    If you were self-employed you can put home office expenses on your Schedule C.   If you are a W-2 employee, you cannot deduct anything for a home office on a federal tax return.   W-2 employees cannot deduct job-related expenses on a federal return.  Job-related expenses were eliminated as a federal deduction for W-2 employees by the tax laws that changed for 2018 and beyond.  Your state tax laws might be different in AL, AR, CA, HI, MN, NY or PA.     If you are preparing a return for a state that lets you deduct job-related expenses, the information will flow from your federal return  to the state return, so enter it in Federal>Deductions and Credits>Employment Expenses>Job-Related Expenses
No response from TurboTax. They want me to pay extra for the Live option, when this is their bug.

TurboTax Online restricts users to one federal tax return per account (user ID) per year. Using the same account for a second return will overwrite the first, causing it to be lost forever.    To file multiple returns online, you must create a separate, unique account for each person, though you can use the same email address for up to five accounts.    See this TurboTax Help.

@xlfan311 wrote: Just saw a new entry from the dropdown list"BOA Merrill Sanity_testing provider"... That is odd. I don't have "BOA Merrill Sanity_testing provider" in my dropdown list (TurboTax Home & Business) but I do have a number of random entries in the dropdown list for import partners. I suppose things are looking up for this to be resolved in the near future.
