Hello -- I am using the amend module, and it says I have a 1040-x form in my print center, but the pages are blank when I go to view them. Is there a bug causing this or is there something I need to do? My return does not have a change in income, refunds, new taxes; I am simply trying to file an 8606 form (for 2025) I mistakenly forgot to include in my existing 2025 return. My return has already processed.

What to do? Bought a product that is faulty, and no way to contact Intuit... If you have a question about the a product you purchased, you can start a thread and post a question in this forum so the issue will show up in the title, and someone may be able to help you here. You can do that here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/forums/postpage/board-id/202 The subject line is for a summary of your question, but the box underneath has room for details, if needed. Do not post personal info in this public Internet forum.

as a note much of what is on line 17 of the k-1 is not used by TurboTax

Follow on my last question, if I answer yes, it calculates depreciation for 2025 when it should be zero. if I answer no, it does not allow me to enter zero for business use in 2025.

TurboTax does not generate an inherited IRA Form 8606.The taxable amount of the Inherited IRA Distribution must be calculated separately on a Form 8606 outside of TurboTax. Only the the calculated taxable amount from that Form 8606 is entered in TurboTax. TurboTax only supports your own Form 8606, not a Form 8606 for an inherited IRA.
The 8606 for the inherited IRA is considered a part of your overall return, not a standalone document. Therefore you will have to print and mail your return. You should include the separately prepared Form 8606 with your return.

No. You can file one federal return and up to three state returns with TurboTax Online.
TurboTax Online requires a separate account for each person. You will have to create login ID's for each tax return that you prepare.
If you use TurboTax Desktop, you can e-file up to five federal tax returns for multiple people.
Refer to the TurboTax Help article: Can I file multiple returns with TurboTax?

Hello, using TurboTax Business 2025 Desktop (Windows) today 3/15/26, I was finally able to transmit the Federal Return (form 1041) successfully, but the California Fiduciary Return (form 541) still fails transmitting; it always reports Error Code 54, even after trying all recommended fixes (installing the TurboTax Business 2025 Super Patch; checking for updates; restarting Windows; clearing the browser cache). The problem is identical on two different PC's, one running Windows 11 and one running Windows 10 (where it is still OK to use TT Business 2025). Intuit, is there another possible fix in the works specifically for California Form 541 transmission failures?

again do some research. the IRS selects who to audit on a random basis. You don't have to submit your 1099 or 1098. They know who has received distributions from the 529. That is all they need to know. Also, why does your son have a 529 in his name? Usually the parent is the owner and the child is the beneficiary.

@taxnovice With respect, let me disagree to parts of your view. "wait until all forms are ready from your financial institution. Import in one go and then make the necessary changes and never import again." - this is exactly the problem. I want to prepare as much as I can of my tax forms and enter all relevant manual adjustments BEFORE the financial institution releases the last form or two. It is NOT up to TT to tell me when to do what. It IS up to TT to let me import and data I want, any time I want AND NOT REMOVE my previous work. Also, "But this year they have the granularity at the account level - meaning it only overwrites the forms for that one account you are attempting again." - let us use consistent terminology. I have an account at a financial institution. My account shows a set of tax forms, some of which are available and I download first, some of which are only available later. I want TT to let me download the first set of tax forms, make some manual changes and save them. I then expect TT to let me download the later set of tax forms WITHOUT REMOVING OR FORCEFULLY OVERWRITING the tax forms I already completed. Peace
