Hi, I have seen those instructions as well. There is no "Save your 2025 return to your computer" option. I have taken my return online all the way up to the pay for filing page, and it didn't change. Anything else I can do to get that option to appear? Thank you!

The Gain/Loss for EACH TRANSACTION is NOT calculated in the tax return. Only the TOTAL gain/loss for all crypto transactions is reported under codes H and K, which was summarized on the cover page of my Fidelity 1099-DA. The 1099-DA transaction detail pages say these are noncovered digital assets so the info reported to the IRS does NOT include "cost basis, acquisition date and holding period", even though all this data is included in the 1099-DA sent to me. The only thing not included in my 1099-DA is the gain/loss for each sale. I have researched numerous sources and they all say I still must calculate this myself. Makes no sense - if I mail the 1099-DA with all the cost data, acquisition date and holding period, the IRS has all the support data it needs if an audit were required.

Be sure that your original copy wasn't rejected.
If it was rejected, correct the issue.
If you've already paid, we will not charge you again.
If your returns have been filed, the IRS will reject the new copy.

I already filed with the ONLINE version . I was correctly done as Itemized and appears to have changed it when I was proof reading other parts of the return. I was trying to fix by amending the return. I spend an hour with a TURBO TAX person yesterday who could not fix this. It is a glitch in the software. My only option appears to be to manually amend

Calling it an RMD is more technically correct because they are required distributions, but you can do it either way. Treating the amount distributed as the amount of RMD required or indicating that no RMD was required will each prevent TurboTax from populating Form 5329 Part IX to report an excess accumulation.

Yes, you should enter the Form 1099-R into your tax return. Even though it is reporting a direct rollover, it will still show up on your Form 1040 line 5a with the 'rollover' checkbox being checked.

are you on desktop or online? if desktop go to Forms mode and the 1099-DIV and below the grid of muni state breakdown for Box 12 there is a line "State where the dividends were earned" which should have XX rather than NY regardless of what's happening on the grid above. it's a bug somewhere in the easy step entry which sets this incorrectly.

Accessing the form is different than trying to e-file for a property tax credit. You cannot make any changes to a return that has already been filed without amending the return. If you are trying to add a property tax credit, you would need to amend your return in order to add the credit unless it is in a state where you can claim the credit separate from the return. Which state are you in?
If you are JUST trying to look at the form you already filed, you would follow VolvoGirl's instructions to just get into the return. You should NOT make any changes at all while in the return unless you hit amend your return first. If you did make changes, you will need to delete the changes you made so your return will look like it did when you filed. Then, after that, if you want to add a credit or deduction or make any other changes, you would need to go back out and select Amend Your Return.
How do I amend my state tax return?
