I've already done all of that. The problem is with TT importing the wrong form for MA residents. I'm not the only person on this website with the same problem

Yes, we can help with that.
You can make a change to a tax return that has already been filed and accepted. You should follow these guidelines.
You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed.
You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return.
Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return.
The refund calculator will start at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due
Only make changes to the areas of your return that need to be corrected.
You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment
Select your product below and follow the instructions.

As long as the total of the two distributions exceed your RMD amount, there won't be any penalty assessed.
TurboTax doesn't know your RMD requirement, so that information has to be input in the program by you. As long as you know you have satisfied the RMD with your two distributions, you can just say the amount of the distribution in Box 1 of each of the 1099-R forms is equal to the amount of the RMD for that 1099-R entry. Be sure to also check the box on the screen after you enter the RMD that states that the entire distribution applied to the RMD. This will eliminate any penalty determination on Form 5329.

I have the same issue with at $10,400 biomass wood stove. It's showing $0 credit and have a five digit tax liability so that $2K credit would come in very handy. I spoke to customer service and sounds like they're aware there's a bug in the system (and have been aware since end of last week) and they're hoping to push out a fix in the next few days.

Same. We use the online version. We deleted the form, tried Chrome browser, called tech support, stepped through the problem. I found several other earlier posts that were resolved by TT support all for desktop version. No solution offered by tech support. They said they will open a formal request. Meanwhile we can’t file our tax return, so we may just say good riddance to TT and take our business HRB.

I have TurboTax 2024 installed on 2 Windows 10 computer and 2 MACs. I have e-filed 5 Federal tax returns last year. When I tried to install TurboTax 2024 on computer #5 (running Windows 11) today. It failed, claiming I have installed the software on 5 computers already. I checked the "Licenses & Downloads" under my account, it clearly showed I have installed on a total of 4 computers only. Does anyone know what's the issue here? Thanks.

TurboTax support for amending 2025 tax returns (Form 1040-X) is estimated to be available in late February 2026, with specific dates often cited around February 25th to March 4th, 2026. You must wait for your original 2025 return to be fully processed (accepted and refund/payment received) before filing an amendment.
Remember that an Amended Return can take up to 12 weeks to process; it won't catch up to or correct your original return.

The financial institutions refused to re-issue 1099INTs in the name of the estate, or even the Joint Owner on the savings accounts. The estate is very small, in the thousands in savings accounts- no other income. I have distributed all taxable interest income to the single beneficiary (who is also Joint Owner-because the decedent was listed as primary with his SSN), except for $600. Using the decedents SSN on his 1040SR Schedule B, nominee interest was shown as deducted to the respective nominee, then form 1096 and 1099INT is to be mailed tomorrow applying $600 to the Estate EIN, with the $$ balance accompanying 1099INT for the beneficiary/joint owner. The Estate EIN will then have a total $600. I know there is a $600 exemption, does that mean no schedule k-1 will need to be issued?

This TurboTax error is regarding additional deductions. It often can happen when the "original" and "amended" amounts aren't properly populated. This will leave the "net change" column blank or incorrect.
Can you clarify your situation?
Why did you amend the return?
What new entries did you make?
Did you run both the Federal and State reviews?
