I did not itemize deductions on my 2024 federal return. I received a 2024 state and local income tax refund. I paid my 4th quarter 2024 state and local estimated tax in 2025. The State and Local Income Tax Refund Worksheet in TT shows the 2024 refund, the 4th quarter state estimated payment, the total of all my 2024 state and local estimated payments, but it does not show the 4th quarter local estimate payment. It subtracts the 4th quarter state payment from the refund to calculate the Refund Allocated to Tax paid after 12/31/2024 (Part I, Line 3). Why is the local payment missing and not used in the calculation?
This is to allocate 50% of capital gains to my ex-wife during the divorce year.

Why have I not received my refund
In 2025, the use for business fell below 50% for the truck, so I need to calculate the recapture. How should lines 33-35 on form 4797 be filled out?
403bs and shouldn't be taxed on annuity. Where did I go wrong?
When you are entering the Form 1099-INT, on the screen for entering the income, check the box My form has info in other boxes

All sections had appropriate information in said boxes. I deleted and even manually entered information. Each time TT defaulted to using state wages instead of the stated local wages information.

Same issue. Helpline simply asks if you are having problems with the switch from Window 10 to 11 and when you reply 'no' their reply is simply "we can't help you" and they hang up. No way to connect with an agent.    Turbotax has obviously become so big they can no longer provide adequate support.   Sad, I've been a satisfied customer for many years but it appears I will have to find my own solution and switch to another company next year.

Thank you all for your responses. I understand that I should not be filling out the "Child's Unearned Income" section as that is for my children (which is not the case). However, if I skip that part (and having entered 1099-G in "1099-MISC and Other Common Income"), TT flags error when I reach the end for review. And, then it takes me to "Child's Unearned Income" section and starts asking me questions about my parent's filing such as if they filed jointly, if they are married, their taxable income, etc. If I fill out this section, my tax shoots up dramatically (because of my parents tax rate). So, even though the "Child's Unearned Income" section seems to be for my children, but the questions there are for my parents. Am I doing something wrong?
