I think you mean you filed your tax return but it omitted income reported on a Form 1099 or the reported income was entered in the wrong place. In either situation, you need to amend your return to make the needed corrections. You will see an option to amend your return when you log into your TurboTax account. The amend return option may not be available yet for the 2025 tax filing season, but if not it will be available soon. Also, if you have a refund coming to you, wait to receive that before you amend your return.

Is there an ETA of when 2025 TurboTax Business will be an approved software for submitting Pass-through Entity state income tax returns in VA?    Currently I see that the forms are available from Turbotax, but Turbotax business isn't on the approve software list.

Thank you. Regarding getting the credit for the carryover form 2024 on my 2025 tax return. I had already done as you suggest, that is enter the carryforward amount from the form 5695.  Although telling me that my running tax payable total is around $600, it gives me the following message:    Your home energy credit summary Based on what you've entered so far, we can't get you the home energy credit for 2025. However, $25,687 of your credit will be carried forward to 2026.   I want to use the credit for  2025. So I am stuck at that point. Can you explain why?

I am amending my 1040 X return 2022 (after duly saving the original to a secure location!), gives me a new amended return that it ALSO 1040 X. Shouldn't it be 1040 X-X (or something), to signal that it's a second-level amendment? The calculation it is showing is correct, so I am sure it is amending the first amended filing.
You can't really combine the two accounts.  They are two different accounts.  You should be able to get your 2024 data into either of them and then continue forward with that account.

I'll second that!!!  When I started looking at this the option WAS there and I used the link to download the CSV Template.  Now it's all gone.  I'm wondering if it has something to do with some IRS changes this year.  But you would think they could at least communicate with their paying customers.  I've used turbotax for over 10 years.

DID YOU E-FILE?   Did you e-file?   Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”     When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.   Check your e-file status:   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/    What does it say in your account?  Does it show that the return was accepted?   Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”

Do you mean the "5 day early" refund?   "5 days early" means you are supposed to receive your federal refund from one to five days sooner than the refund date shown on the IRS refund site.   If it does not meet that "at least one day sooner" date, they are supposed to refund the $35 fee.   You have to pay attention to the date on the IRS refund site. You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Horrible respone from TurboTax.  i am in the same exact situation. My bank routing and account numbers are verified accurate. Turbo Tax is at fault as they partnered with Cross River Bank, not me. My refund was issued weeks ago by Federal IRS. Cross River bank apparently has my money!!! WTF is going on!!
