Do you have a reject code? If your return was rejected, just sign back into your account and you can make any changes you need to to your W-2. Your W-2 entry can be found in the Wages Income section of the Federal return. What does my rejected return code mean and how do I fix it? You can resubmit your return for e-filing after making the corrections.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.
The IRS Where's My Refund site won't take into account the 5 days early, but if you signed up for the 5 Day Early product, you should receive your refund deposited 5 days prior to the date indicated by the IRS, assuming all conditions are met.
If you don't get your deposit 5 days early, there's a few reasons why that might happen.
Your refund was offset or differed from their estimated refund amount, bringing the refund amount below the minimum threshold or above the maximum.
Your bank wouldn't accept RTP (Real Time Payments) or Same Day ACH deposits, preventing Intuit from depositing your refund 5 days ahead of when the IRS would have deposited your refund.
The IRS didn't give Intuit 5 or more days of notice in advance. This stopped Intuit from meeting the 5 days early expectations.
If TurboTax is unable to deliver the refund 5 days early, your order will be canceled and you won't be charged the 5-Day Early fee.
You will receive a follow-up email with a refund and timing update, and if any cancellation is applicable.

When you enter your income in to use the annualized method to calculate the underpayment penalty, there is a screen called Net capital gains. This page requires you to enter your Long term capital gains and qualified dividends received in each of the periods because these receive the more favorable capital gains tax rates that are different from the ordinary income rates for all other income, which also includes short-term capital gains and those dividends that are not qualified dividends. If you enter each of these specific incomes for the time periods specified, this will get the correct information for the underpayment penalty determination.

The depreciation and amortization update should be functional by tomorrow, February 20, 2026 in both the online and desktop TurboTax products. The IRS did not finalize the form until February 11, 2026 and it took a couple of weeks for TurboTax to make the necessary adjustments in the program.

To clarify, where is that screen located? Is that in your W2 entry screen or in your Indiana state return.

Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
