This solved my issue. Downloaded 1099-R had the IRA block checked, but this did not transfer to the form in Turbotax without me clicking on it.

If you would like to send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information it would help. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions: (Don't forget to give us the state)
TurboTax Online:
Open your return -Go to the menu panel on the left side of your return and select Tax Tools.
Then select Tools below Tax Tools.
A window will pop up which says Tools Center.
On this screen, select Share my file with Agent.
You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is. Click okay through this screen and then you will get a Token number.
Reply to this thread with your Token number and your state. This will allow us to open a copy of your return without seeing any personal information.
TurboTax Desktop:
If you like, you can send a copy of your return that will be scrubbed to eliminate your personal data by using these steps:
Click on Online in the top left menu of TurboTax Desktop for Windows
Select 'Send Tax File to Agent'* > Follow the prompts to reach the token number.
Enter your email used for TurboTax > Enter your code > Send
Write down or send an image of your token number and state then place in this issue.
We can then review your exact scenario for a solution.
Please also tell us any states included in the return. This is necessary for us to view the return.
*If using a MAC, go to the menu at the top of the screen, select Help, then, 'Send Tax File to Agent')
We will be able to see exactly what you are seeing and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return to provide you with a resolution.

Your question only states that you meet the support rule. There are other qualifiers. Be sure you meet them all. If so. then you have answered something wrong, in the interview. Carefully, go thru the interview again. If that doesn't work, delete the dependent and re-enter.
There are two types of dependents, "Qualifying Children"(QC) and Other ("Qualifying Relative" in IRS parlance even though they don't have to actually be related). There is no income limit for a QC but there is an age limit, student status, a relationship test and residence test.
The support test is different for each type. The support test, for a QC, is only that the child didn't provide more than half his own support. The support test for a Qualifying Relative is that the taxpayer provided more than half the relative's support.
A child of a taxpayer can still be a “Qualifying Child” (QC) dependent, regardless of his/her income, if:
He is under age 19, or under 24 if a full time student for at least 5 months of the year, or is totally & permanently disabled
He did not provide more than 1/2 his own support. Scholarships are excluded from the support calculation
He lived with the parent (including temporary absences such as away at school) for more than half the year
So, it doesn't matter how much he earned. What matters is how much he spent on support. Money he put into savings does not count as support he spent on himself.
The support value of the home, provided by the parent, is the fair market rental value of the home plus utilities & other expenses divided by the number of occupants.
The IRS has a worksheet that can be used to help with the support calculation. See: http://apps.irs.gov/app/vita/content/globalmedia/teacher/worksheet_for_determining_support_4012.pdf
See full dependent rules at: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/tax-tips/Family/Rules-for-Claiming-a-Dependent-on-Your-Tax-Return/INF12139.html
A person can still be a Qualifying relative dependent, if not a Qualifying Child (but then it does matter how much income he has) if he meets the 6 tests for claiming a dependent:
Closely Related OR live with the taxpayer ALL year
His/her gross taxable income for the year must be less than $5200 (2025) ($5050 for 2024).
The taxpayer must have provided more than 1/2 his support
In either case:
He must be a US citizen or resident of the US, Canada or Mexico
He must not file a joint return with his spouse or be claiming a dependent of his own
He must not be the qualifying child of another taxpayer
He must have a US social security number or tax identification number (TIN)

Yes, unused Investment Interest Expense carries forward automatically to future years, as long as you file Schedule A for Itemized Deductions and Form 4952 to report the carryover in the year of the excess (even if you end up taking the Standard Deduction). The 2025 carryover amount appears on Form 4952 Line 7.

It should be ignored if you have not physically received any letter from the IRS. Also, you have already done the work of verification and confirmation you did include your interest income on your tax return. It could be an internal indicator.
Steps you can take if you choose:
Check the Notice Number: Identify the specific notice code on your transcript (e.g., CP05, CP11, CP5071) to understand the exact cause, as shown on the IRS website.
A Letter: If you do receive a letter you should respond immediately.
Check Account Transcript: Review your IRS Account Transcript for specific Transaction Codes (TC) that explain the action taken, as explained on the Taxpayer Advocate Service website

In order for us to troubleshoot this issue, you can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions for TurboTax Desktop users:
From the black bar at the top of your screen, select Online
Click Send Tax File to Agent
Click Send on the message that pops up
TurboTax will create a "sanitized" copy of your return information with no personal info
Post the full token number here in this thread
We will then be able to review your file to see what you are seeing, and we can determine what is going on in your return and provide you with a suggested resolution.

A "Payment Canceled" status with "Refund Transfer" in TurboTax often indicates
A glitch in the system,
A change in your refund amount by the IRS, or
A, banking issue where the third-party bank couldn't process the fee deduction.
This does not usually mean your return was rejected. Your refund is likely still processing, but you may need to pay fees directly.
To check the status of your tax return and refund, you should use the Where’s My Refund Website.

Hmm. I'm not getting any portion of the $6000 OBBB senior deduction in TurboTax. - I've verified my birth date is correct, - My filing status is correct (single). - I've verified my income is less than $175k (by a lot, though I am over the $75k minimum). I am only getting the standard deduction + $2000 for 65+. I am not getting any portion of the $6000 OBBB senior deduction.
