You stated that you are self-employed. What adjusted gross income are you reporting on line 11a of the IRS form 1040?
Perhaps your self-employment income alone exceeds the dollar limit for a person to be eligible for the qualified overtime deduction reported on a W-2?
This TurboTax Help states:
The overtime deduction is gradually phased out – potentially to $0 – if your modified adjusted gross income exceeds $150,000 ($300,000 for joint filers).

Check your info in the Personal Info section to see what your Filing Status is. Form 8958 should not keep repopulating unless TurboTax thinks you're filing separately in a community property state.
There's a question in that section that asks if 'you want to file jointly with your spouse' to look for. If you make any changes in this section, try closing the program, clear your Cache and Cookies and see if that resolves your issue.

I am in a CONSTANT loop for the Federal Taxes when I get to the review section, it tells me that answers are needed and that I need to review it and when I click on Fix it just shows me this same page over and over again. It doesn't tell me what or where the error is. It just says Answers Needed and FIX and NOTHING happens. I have tried everything from clearing cache and cookies to different browsers. I have looked and reviewed everything. I am at a total loss. Can someone please help?

Yes, you can leave it blank, BUT I suggest that you go back to the wage and income section and revisit the Less common income section and look at the 1099-SA, HSA, MSA questions to make sure there is no information in there that is making TurboTax think you took out distributions from an HSA account; resulting in turbotax asking you for a distribution code.

I'm on the "Time to enter <my name>'s education expenses" page, and all I'm seeing is a place to put required books and materials from the school, and then optional books and materials from the school. I'm not seeing a place to put things that I purchased on my own and not from the school. I started online college and that required me to have a laptop, so I bought one to use exclusively for school, but I'm not seeing where I enter that information.

Since Nevada has no state income tax, you do not need to tell TurboTax that you earned money in another state.
You can enter the W-2G in the Federal Section in TurboTax.
Do not enter any state information from the W-2G if Nevada is listed.
Next, do your resident state return if your state has an income tax.
You will pay Federal tax on the gambling income and, if your state has an income tax, you will report the gambling winnings (as well as all your other income) on your resident state return.
Once you enter the W-2G in the Federal Section, the gambling winnings will flow to the state return, you don't need to enter it a second time.

Yes, if you claim the person who purchased the Marketplace plan as a dependent, you must enter their Form 1095-A on your tax return. Even if the dependent obtained the Marketplace plan themselves, the taxpayer claiming them is responsible for reconciling the Premium Tax Credit. Do not enter it on the dependent's return.
When TurboTax asks for your % Allocation, you can try a couple of different configurations to see what works best for you (gives you a larger PTC), if you are the one paying the entire premium. Any way you want to allocate the premium cost between the persons on the policy is fine, as long as the total doesn't exceed 100%.
If the dependent received a subsidy (Advance Premium Tax Credit) they did not qualify for, it may need to be paid back on the return.
Please see this help article for more information on entering Form 1095-A information in TurboTax.
Please see this tax tips article for more information about the Premium Tax Credit.

Useless. My wife's 2024 AGI was 0, but the IRS won't accept that because TurboTax keeps changing her AGI to my AGI.

I have the same problem. IRS instructions specifically state that for donated securities you must use average selling price on the date of donation. It is an option on the drop down menu, but if you select it, the program defaults to Comparative Sales, which is NOT the same thing. Why have something on a drop down menu and then make you unable to use it? I will attempt to report it.

The State Tax Refund Worksheet determines if a prior-year state tax refund (reported on Form 1099-G) is taxable on your federal return. If you took the standard deduction last year, the refund is not taxable; enter $0. If you itemized, enter the amount of state/local taxes deducted (Schedule A, Line 5a/5c) to calculate the taxable portion.

Hi, It's me again! Waiting for my Depreciation Info on Premier 2025. Last thing I need to do so I can file. Does the BBB impact really tiny coop rentals that much?!? Any work arounds you might suggest. However, since I'm writing to you ( a few minutes ago I accidentally found you & reached out - not realizing you helped me last year), how/where do I add 2025 amortized principal of underlying mortgage and actual reserve monies used in 2025 to replace and improve long term assets ( roofing, building facade, plumbing and more) to my increase my existing basis. Lastly, I selected the De Minimus option to expense items less than $2500. Is this an annual election or am I good going forward for 2025 and future, automatically? Thank you in advance. Glad you're still out there. @RobertB4444
