Based on the current 2025 tax laws and assuming you are filing as a Single taxpayer using the standard deduction, the relatively small reduction in your bill is likely because the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBBA) only provides a deduction for federal income tax on tips, but does not eliminate the 15.3% Self-Employment (SE) tax used for Social Security and Medicare.
Even if your tips are exempt from income tax, you are likely still paying SE taxes on that $13,995 in tip income. Also, because the 2025 standard deduction of $15,750 already made over 75% of your $20,072 total income tax-free, the tip deduction could only erase the federal income tax on the small remaining portion of your earnings.

Delete the imported 1099-INT and re-enter it manually. It only takes a minute or two. That will be a lot faster and easier than trying to fix the imported form.

Sorry, but Turbo Tax didn't do that. It only inserted $61 that I received from the excess earnings in 2025, not including the $1020 that was contributed tax free from my employer in 2025. Most of the $61 in earnings were from the excess contributions from the previous year, which I got in early 2025. The excess contribution for 2024 was returned to me in March of 2025 and was accounted for on my 2024 return (the excess was returned to me before the 4/15/2024 filing date), but the earnings were not. About $10 of the $61 were from the excess contributions I made in 2025 and all of my remaining excess contributions of $1020 and earnings were returned to me December 24, 2025 and were reported on my 1099-SA. The problem started when I found out in February of 2025 that I was no longer eligible to contribute to my HSA. But by that time, I had already signed up for a high deductible health plan for 2025 and couldn't change it. I reduced my contributions to my HSA by as much as my plan would allow, which is why I only had $1020 sent to my HSA for 2025 and only ~$10 in earnings. Here is a screenshot from my TurboTax return, schedule 1, Line 8. It should read $1081according to your answer.

I then went back to my 2024 program, and all of the files are gone from there. Is that in the Windows version or the Mac version? I'm not sure what you did when you said you "transferred all of my 2024 tax files to the 2025 program." But if you are missing any *.taxYYYY data files, in Windows version the default folder is the Documents\TurboTax folder, but you could have stored them in a different directory/folder. Do NOT put them in the TurboTax program directory, however, which is constantly undergoing change/update. The Documents\TurboTax is supposedly the safest place to keep the *.taxYYYY data files. But even there some users have reported they disappeared. I always back up my *.taxYYYY data file to external storage after every work session--just in case. If you are launching TurboTax, and at the main TurboTax screen you no longer see the large rectangular icons that link to the underlying data files, that doesn't necessarily mean the tax files are not available. It may just be that the rectangular icons have disappeared. Or if you do see them, but they don't launch a data file, it could mean that they have become dissociated from the underlying linked data file. In any case, to search for a missing data file, search your entire computer system for any file ending in *.taxYYYY where YYYY is the year. (you may also want to try a search for *.tax) Also look in the Recycle Bin and any cloud storage you have such as OneDrive, where a couple users reported theirs unknowingly ended up. If you use the Windows version, and if you have multiple Windows user accounts, such as a separate Admin account, log into each Windows user account and do the searches from within each one.

How did you know that you had excess contributions for 2025? Did TurboTax tell you this? I wonder if the reason that you don't see where the excess contributions are added back to your income is because TurboTax did not think that you had excess contributions.
You always obtain the "withdrawal of excess contributions" from the HSA custodian, and never from the employer, so your W-2 never changes in any case.
If you did not have any excess contributions in fact, but took money out anyway, then you have made a distribution for reasons other than qualified medical expenses. Such distributions are taxed as ordinary income and have an additional 20% penalty.
If this is the case, that TurboTax did not report an excess, so you actually did not have an excess and should not have withdrawn it, then thing to do is to contact your HSA custodian and report a "Mistaken distribution". If they accept this (be nice because they don't have to do this), then you will need to sign a form and send them the money (from the 1099-SA) in return, which they will redeposit into your HSA. Trying to fix this any other way will foul up the paperwork for the HSA and your tax returns over time.

Thanks for providing that additional Information about Idaho, @haleyrsd! It is a little disconcerting for these issues to be around still, and that tax returns being able to be filed. The calculation error is a simple matter that is easily fixable, but more concerning is that it is easily auditable by the state revenue agency. It just takes an agent one look at the state income tax addback being reported, and one look at the Federal Schedule A to see the discrepancy and issue a notice of adjustment for additional taxes owed plus penalties and interest. @rolanddawson2500, I definitely understand the hesitation and anxiety with e-filing a tax return through software in which we have to override the calculations and input a manual entry, especially if we cannot easily see the XML file that shows all the numbers that are actually being transmitted to the tax authorities. As an Oklahoma filer myself, in this situation, I may utilize the Oklahoma Taxpayer Access Point website (https://oktap.tax.ok.gov/) and see if I qualify to e-file my state tax return directly with the Oklahoma Tax Commission. This is a more manual process than using the Turbotax software but using the state tax portal will allow me to hold myself accountable for the tax figures I am reporting and gives me comfort knowing that I know exactly what numbers the state is receiving. Using the OK TAP website is also free, so that is a bonus 🙂 However, I would still like to hear how Turbotax is addressing this issue, whether that the issue is being looked at (or not) or address/acknowledge the audit risk related to this issue, either for those returns already filed or returns that will be filed through Turbotax before a fix is released.

You didn't say whether you are using the TurboTax Desktop software or TurboTax Online.
If you are using the TurboTax Desktop software you can go to forms mode, click Open Form, and open federal Schedule A or any of its associated worksheets, even though it is not included in your federal tax return.
In TurboTax Online there is no way to see a form, schedule, or worksheet that is not part of your tax return.

In the Missouri state section of TurboTax, look for the Miscellaneous Missouri Credits. Select HDC from the dropdown list and enter the amounts. You will have to paper file your return and attach the Form 5926 Homestead Disaster Tax Credit Affidavit. The Missouri Homestead Disaster Tax Credit (HDC) is a non-refundable, up to $5,000 state tax credit available starting in 2025 for residents who paid insurance deductibles due to damages from a federally declared disaster on their primary residence. It requires applicants to have lived in the home for over six months, with excess credits carrying forward for up to 29 years. For complete details, see Homestead Disaster Tax Credit (HDC)

As I review your tax return, the only change I made was to enter a zero for the amount of health insurance payment in Box 5. Your Oklahoma (OK) return shows the correct reduction in both the pension types indicated and on the Retirement Exclusion Worksheet:
$10,000 - OK or Federal Retirement
$44,026 - Civil Service per your numbers above
The subtractions on Line 2, Form 511 include the correct amounts. You can go to Forms and click on that line to show how they arrived at the total.
If you have more questions or see something differently, please update here.
