Same issue is happening with the 2025 desktop version. Won't E-file Hawaii State return, getting the "Hmm.. It looks like we've hit a slight snag" message after continuing on the Payment step. Never asks for payment information, just keeps looping on this process, ending with the message that "Your Payment Didn't Go Through". Called support and after half hour and re-installing the software, same results. Agent finally acknowledged they were aware of the problem but offered no time frame for a fix. Very frustrating...

If the form displays when you open it in TurboTax Business using Forms Mode, the form will be complete when you e-file the return.    We recommend opening the PDF version using Adobe Acrobat rather than a browser. Also, check this article for more help: How do I fix issues while printing my return?

We have tested this experience using various business returns without reproducing the issue. Our tech support suggests this may be a browser/computer/installation problem.   We recommend that you save the Schedules K-1 as PDFs and view/print using Adobe Reader.

When you select yes to annualize your income, it should be showing 4 boxes for each part. I have to assume you chose the regular method instead. To get the 4 boxes, go back through and choose to annualize your income, this will trigger the 4 boxes for payments.

Thanks for helping. I figured out what happened. We have been living almost exclusively on Social Security and Traditional IRA Distributions (mine, not hers) which apparently is not counted as income with regard to calculating her rollover IRA allowed contribution amount. The only income used for determining eligibility was income from skin care direct sales (about $1500 gross for the year). We will have to claw the $8k back to avoid 6% annual penalty from the IRS.

Thanks PK, You are correct that not only am I a US citizen, but I am based in California.  I do have other sources of tutoring income that are based here in the USA and this company sent me a 1099-NEC that covers most of my tutoring income so I'm a little wary of calling the income from China a hobby.  I'm just trying to find the correct tax forms.  I see now that Schedule C Part I Line 1a should do the trick!  Thanks again!

You should reach out to your state's Department of Revenue/Taxation.  How do I contact my state Department of Revenue?

Try using a different Web browser Make sure your internet connection is strong TurboTax automatically saves data in real-time as you go through the interview process. It also saves whenever you navigate to a new screen or sign out.

Like so many others, my Oregon Kicker was not included in my Turbo Tax Oregon submission. While the anticipated amount was shared it never changed my refund. I followed the directions to "Send a Diagnostic Copy of Your Return to a TurboTax Agent." What is supposed to happen now to resolve this?
