Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:   Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu. Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website. Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms. Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit." Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.   Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

I just pushed my taxes through and it says it was accepted by the IRS so that was this morning. I got a message that I was accepted

I 100% agree. This is fraudulent practice. I also could not get to my "do it myself" Premium service.

Yes, the information you showed in your question is true.     It is possible that if you are claiming a Residential Clean Energy Credit for solar panel installation and an Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit for installing an energy efficient HVAC system that you will not be able to claim the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit if your tax liability is reduced to zero by the Residential Clean Energy Credit for solar installations.   Form 5695 Residential Energy Credits is structured in such a way that the credit for solar installations is taken into account first.  If all of this credit is not used, it can be carried forward to a future tax year.  But, when this happens, the HVAC credit is essentially lost because there is no tax liability left and there is no carry forward provision for that credit.
The community has no access to any of this information and usually when you are denied a loan, you get a letter in the mail later on saying why.

So when I had my son I took out $500 as that’s the only amount I was allowed to take out. However when I received the tax transcript from Fidelity they advised on the paper it was $2098 shown so when I added my taxes in the section for 401k it asked if I had a exception like a qualified birth which I did and I put the amount of $2098 cause I was unsure

I was always a TurboTax disc guy and now having to change to just online only is a struggle as well as getting 2024 imported. I tried “free online” it didn’t work and then I simply went and purchased the download from Staples and then it is the old format which looks familiar and I was able to import 2024. Don’t do the free online stuff first that doesn’t work

If you are having issues in Step 3 of the filling process and are trying to pay your TurboTax Fees with our refund transfer program, there's a known issue that it won't let you move forward if your “State refund doesn't cover TurboTax fees.” Even though, you might have enough on your Federal portion to cover it.    There's no date yet as to when this will be fixed.    However, if you would prefer to file now, you can do so by switching to pay your TurboTax fees with a credit card instead of using the pay with my refund.   See the link below for steps   How do I remove Pay With My Refund fees in TurboTax Online and change my payment method?   If this is not your case and you are experiencing a different type of issue, please reply with the specifics of what issue you are encountering when trying to Sign/E-file.   Edited [01/27/2026 at 04:59 PM ET]
