@vincente9102    The Online software can only to be used for 2025 taxes right now. If you started putting in a different year's information, you can go into the "Tx Tools" menu on the left side of the screen and in there there will be a menu selection to "Clear and Start Over" .  Whether you decide to actually start over is up to you, but only 2025 taxes should be dealt with. ________________________ If you do need to file a prior year (2022, 2023, or 2024), you could buy the TTX "Desktop" software to be installed and prepared on a full MAC or Windows computer....but any prior year can only be printed by you, and mailed in now, since it is too late to e-file for those prior years.   You can select which prior year you need to buy as "Desktop" software here (make sure you select the proper year first, 2024 comes up first): File Your 2024 Prior Year Taxes with TurboTax Desktop

@mwilborn0494    There is nothing in the works about that yet.....Might never happen, and even then it might take filing  a tax return before anything would be allowed.  There is nothing in the OBBB about it, nor in the tax code.  So far, it's just Smoke-&-Mirrors handwaving   Would likely take an act of Congress to implement, and no one there has even started doing anything for that. __________ i.e. Try not to get worked up over rumors or political grandstanding by either party.

Then, only the $$ that exceeded your 10% bracket was taxed at 12%....i.e not all of it is hit at 12%.   It's called a progressive tax system. ______________________________ Also, TTX sometimes lists an "effective" tax rate in their summary.  That % is really just an imprecise handwaving average%, usually based on your AGI (before deductions), and not based on your actual "taxable" income value (after deductions).
