There were other posts in the forums where it is mentioned that the 7217 can be mailed separately while the Federal return can be e-filed. Could you kindly clarify / confirm ?   Thanks, HK

Hi @Mike9241    After re-reading your answer in the steps 10 and 11 above, I went back and enter 0 in the "Enter Sale Information" section and then after that the Form 8949 (copy 2) disappeared in form mode.    I was able to adjust the imported 1099B from my broker (using TT Desktop). I adjusted each line of UVXY by following your formula:   # of shares reported as sold on the line  x (-3058)                 total shares sold   I have sold a total of 975 shares, so on line with 450 shares of UVXY sold, it would be   450*(-3058) / 975 = -1411.38  <=== adjustment value   With this value, I applied the adjustment to the UVXY line with 450 shares on the imported 1099B and clicked on "The cost basis is incorrect or missing on my 1099‑B" checkbox. It would take me to the "We noticed there's an issue with your cost basis...Let us know if you'd like to make any changes" I chose "I know my cost basis and need to make an adjustment" and added my actual cost basis For the actual cost basis, I had to add this value by the original reported cost basis, which is 9313.16. So the actual cost basis is 9313.16 + 1411.38 = 10724.54 After that I would get Capital Gain/Loss Adjustments Worksheet (attached image below). Notice the -1411.38 adjusted value. I did the same for the 3 other lines with different shares of UVXY, so in total I got 4 worksheets. I noticed Form 8949 (Copy 1) line 2 (totals) were updated after I did this adjustment.  I calculated after adjustment of 4 lines of UVXY, my net gain was adjusted to 1139.   Can you help me check if this the correct way to do the adjustment on my 1099B form, specially item #4 above? I'm hoping to file this amendment tomorrow 🙏   I also checked the K-1 disposition link (in form mode), in part II (disposition of partnership Interest), lines 5 to 12 are 0 (line 6 and 11 are blank though).   uvxy-adjusted-1-worksheet
Online version: Go to state taxes -> Income and adjustments -> Business: Rental and Royalty adjustment -> Edit for adding 'Single member LLC'. Turbotax would create form 568
I recently submitted my filings with the forms 1040 and 4852. It was after submission (e-filing) that I noticed I had made a typo in the EIN. How can I correct it? I don’t see the ‘Amend’ option yet.
I requested that my taxes be sent to my home address. It shows as sent, but nothing has arrived yet.

@beegm wrote: The good thing is that other software packages can load in a TurboTax file, as long as it's saved in the unencrypted form. Now to just decide on which one. That shouldn't be overly burdensome as you only have to figure out whether you want to use H&R Block or TaxAct. There really are not a whole lot of choices with respect to consumer-level, installed income tax preparation software.

windows computer without a printer how do you plan to mail the PDFs. also 10/15 the deadline is always a good time to ask questions that may not be immediate solvable.  you could go back into Turbotax and try this click print on the file tab; preview print copy; a new windows opens. click on file then print. select MS PDF or MS XPS as the printer (you need to have the xps option in windows activated). then save and see if readable. if so you still run into the issue of no printer. if corrupt contact support 5am-5pm Pacific Time (8-8 Eastern) Monday - Friday https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact 800-446-8848
The sale info came on a k-1 so it was correctly entered there, but now I can't delete the Sale of Business Property entry
My workaround was to consolidate it and enter a single 1095    TT could not handle multiple 1095s    taxes got filed

I need to save pdfs of all my state tax forms - my state requires me to MAIL the forms and we don't have a printer that works. Several of the forms that are required will not save - they are 'corrupted'. I DO have overrides on some numbers - nothing was working properly, and I've been a user for 15 years. Please help!
Thank you both Mike and Fanfare for your response. Great information!
