I am a playwrite now as I have been in theatre since the 60s. I decided to allow a theatre to produce my play, pro bono in order to possibly get promotional video to use to get it produced for profit. I am traveling there, living there for a month (will not be my tax home) and will show no profit, but I project at least $2500 in expenses. Can I deduct those? I have Pension and Social Security as my main sources of income.

If you qualify for having a home office which is a space only used for business activity, you can deduct all mileage trips. Keep a contemporaneous log.

Do you mean child care credit?
While the W-4 is primarily used to adjust withholding for the Child Tax Credit, you can potentially reduce your withholding in anticipation of other credits, such as the Child and Dependent Care Credit, by factoring them into your withholding calculations.
You would do this in Step 3 of the W-4 by entering the total amount of anticipated credits.

Both my spouse and I work full time jobs. I am filling out W4. We have one child with nanny and the other (4) in preschool. What amount should I put for education tax credit?

When you are entering income on a joint return, every income entry screen will either have a spot with both spouse’s names there, or when you click to enter a W-2, 1099R, etc. it will ask you by name which spouse it is for. You do not have to wait for the software to “ask” you for your spouse’s income. Go to the screens to enter your spouse’s W-2’s, 1099’s, etc. just like you did for your own income. Then look for your spouse’s name there.

There is no guidance for going the route you delineated.
If you want to make a distribution and issue K-1s there is guidance if beneficiaries will not provide their SSNs.
First of all, failure to provide an SSN in that circumstance can result in penalties under Section 6721. Further, the trustee (or executor) must send the beneficiariy a W-9 and then document attempts to obtain the SSN. There is also the possibliity of backup withholding.

The IRS does not handle any type of state tax return.
Who exactly sent the letter and what state are you being asked to file and why?

The account number does not go on your tax return. There is no place for it on the tax return. So there is nothing to amend. There is no place to enter the account number in TurboTax because there is no place where TurboTax could put it on your tax return.
If the account number is the only change on the corrected 1099-INT, do not amend your tax return. Don't do anything. Just forget about it.

I have 1099-DIV for stock, 1099-R for 401k, 1099-INT for which Poland already taxed me. I filled most of this in on Turbotax as I prepare my tax filing. Can Turbotax live help me review this so I don't have to pay taxes on these again, and show how much Poland may have taxed me for these?
