Not sure what you are trying to do.  You need to enter your W-2 exactly as it appears in the federal return, including the amounts from all of the boxes on the W-2.  Information flows from the federal return to the state return.   If you are entering information for a renter credit, you will be doing that when you prepare the IN tax return. You do not change anything on your W-2 in regard to a rent credit.

"Any excess over the 2025 limit would be a non-qualified distribution."   That's with respect to a 2025 qualified medical expense and is the amount that you already had distributed from the the HSA in 2025.  For 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, long-term care expenses that the you can reimburse yourself for with distributions from the HSA, provided that they were incurred after the establishment of the HSA and not already claimed on Schedule A for those years, are limited to $4,520, $4,510, $4,770 and $4,710, respectively.   If you reimburse yourself with a distribution from the HSA for the permissible amounts for 2021 through 2024 in addition to the distribution for 2025 and you itemize medical deductions on Schedule A, be sure to enter the entire amount of these 2025 HSA distributions as insurance expenses when completing the medical-expense section of TurboTax.  TurboTax automatically subtracts from the amount that it puts on Schedule A line 1 the amount of the HSA distributions that you claim as applied to qualified medical expenses.

If you filed online, you will need to log into your account that you used to file your 2023 return.  I need help signing in to my Intuit Account If you used the desktop version, you will need to find the file on your computer if you saved it.  If you did not, then you may be able to open the 2023 version of your personal return program (NOT TURBOTAX BUSINESS) and find the file that way.   How do I find my tax data file (.tax file) on my Windows computer?

Yes, I've already downloaded the desktop software. I've logged in to the online using my proper ID.    I clicked continue, when on 'Tax Home' if I go to the bottom and click 'your tax returns & documents' ..I can see 2022 and all other past years, but nothing shows up for 2023. I understand I cannot file or use the online version to edit. I'm trying to extract the .tax file of what I started which had all my info and want to bring my info into desktop to finish and print. However when I go taxes and documents, 2023 has no file at all.   OR If I go on the left menu that says 'Documents' there is nothing under any year at all as if I never used this before. I am in my proper login ID so I don't understand what is happening or why I can't see the 2023 info at all. I've included some pictures that may help show what I mean.

Thank you.  This looks like what I need.  Appreciate your help.  I'm shocked how expensive the online forms are for cloud services.  I know we're paying for expertise but holy cow, for an individually LLC looking to offset federal taxes, turbotax is reaching their hands out into both my pockets on this one.  I'm having a bit of sticker shock at the moment.

@Wfugate512 That means you skipped a screen that came after you entered your SSA1099 or you answered incorrectly on that screen.   The screen that comes after entry of a SSA1099 is a screen that specifically asks if you lived in certain foreign countries while receiving Social Security.   If you skipped past that screen or answered incorrectly---your SS was not taxed correctly.
