Go back to the W-2G and edit it to add the amount in box 1 to box 16, enter 0 in 17, and the name of the locality you are filing for in box 18.   The go back through the filing steps.

Are you amending your New York return?   Sounds like you are being asked to type in a reason why you are amending......  Are you using TurboTax Online?   If you are using desktop, switch to Forms Mode (click on Forms in the upper right corner) and go to the form with the red exclamation mark and fixed the error there.
I got it to work, but your instructions were too sparse.  There were many other steps I had to take to accomplish it, but at least I was able to get it to work.
Do you mean Form 1099-G?  Where do I enter a 1099-G for a state or local tax refund?    If the tax form is really for interest - see Where do I enter Form 1099-INT?
Did you already file the return?   You can change your birthday in the Personal Info (desktop program) or the My Info section of TurboTax Online.

You don't need to do anything other than whatever the IRS notice tells you to do.   The IRS already fixed it on your return.   Because you marked it yes, that caused a zero to be entered on Line 6 when there should have been an amount.   You can prepare the amendment in TurboTax, but you don't need to file it as your return was already adjusted.  The IRS adjusted line 6b from zero to the correct amount, which increased your taxable income and therefore, reduced the amount of your refund.

Wait---what "activation code?"    Do you mean the 16 digit license code for the desktop download?   There is no activation code for online TurboTax.  If you have a license key it is for the desktop download to use on a full PC or Mac.    The difference this year is that instead of using a CD to install desktop you just download the software to your hard drive.        HOW DO I GET STARTED WITH TT DESKTOP   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/license-information/install-turbotax-cd-download-software-license-code/L1wFOSXur_US_en_US?uid=m5zp8c5h

I moved from GA to NJ for job relocation and stayed in NJ the whole year. I'd consider myself a full time NJ residence in 2024. However my wife stayed in GA the whole year and she didn't work in 2024. We do have a rental property in GA in 2024.   I've filed Married jointly for federal and NJ state for 2024. Now how should we file GA state tax? Should we file GA jointly or separately for non-residence vs residence?

I remember checking a box saying take my fees out of my refund I received my refund fairly quick. Then got one email saying I owed them $146 for filing. Unfortunately I’m unemployed now due to medical issues and my bank closed my account for no activity for over 30 days. If they try to debit it, it won’t go through due to it being closed.

I've used this software for years but I'm thoroughly frustrated with this year's version. I can't even get to first base. I activated Turbotax but am completely unable to import last  year's returns/info even though I'm using the same computer and the required files are clearly there. I've spent  about 4 hrs on this including 1.5 hrs on the phone with an agent which solved nothing. when all else failed she had me download a version but I wasn't able to activate it because she couldn't get me a new activation code. It looks like I bought a completely useless piece of junk. I'm disgusted.

Are the fees supposed to come out of your refund? If the IRS is taking too long to send your refund you still have to pay the fees in time, 36 days after your original estimated refund date.   See What if the IRS reduces your refund or delays it. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/payments/help/what-if-my-federal-refund-isn-t-enough-to-cover-my-turbotax-fees/00/26313   Then when the IRS does send your refund they won't take the fees out again.   And, Why you got charged, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/why-was-my-bank-account-auto-debited-for-turbotax-fees/00/26102   You should have received about 4 emails asking for the fees.  If you don't pay they will debit your account.  You had to agree to it.

You don't have to pay again if your return gets rejected; you just fix it and re-submit it until it transmit successfully.    Are the order numbers the same, or  did you have to upgrade in order to successfully e-file?    And one more question, are you trying to file from multiple accounts; you should only be using one account, the same account you use each year to prepare and file your tax return.  How many TurboTax Accounts do I have?
Why do I have a bill for $146? I requested that the filing fees be taken out of my refund.
