Me too.  I had to uninstall TurboTax after I had downloaded the Minnesota software and reload it.  It wouldn't let me download Minnesota again for free.  I talked to 3 representatives over 3 hours before 1 finally had the answer of how to do it.  But I had to pay for the Minnesota software which used the $10 credit that came with it as well as a $37.98 charge to my credit card.    The rep told me to file for a refund which I did 2 weeks ago and have still heard nothing.   TurboTax seems to do something like this every year and I'm at the point of never using them again.

We are moving to Florida from Maryland.   We want to rent out our former home in MD to a friend.   We will be residents of Florida.   What will we have to do as far as Maryland Taxes go?    Our house is paid off, what can we write off?   Or exactly what do we need to do to make this happen with the least amount of Tax ramifications.

Thank you very much for your kind explanation.   I e-filed my tax return on April 1, 2025, and it has already been accepted. However, I believe I now need to amend the return. Regarding Form 8889, my initial tax return, I changed line 9 to reflect $6,300, and as a result, the HSA deduction on line 13 became $0. (??)   Would it be possible for me to repay the $3,000 to the HSA administrator at this point? I did not have $3,000 in qualified medical expenses for 2024, so I’m unsure how to proceed in this situation.
Glad you had a good experience.  Surveys are sent by a computer system and there is no way to get one if the computer did not send it.

Did you e-file your state tax return and was it accepted? Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.   You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".   After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.   Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.  Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.   To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product. If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...
