That's good reasoning...

If you received an IP PIN from the IRS, you will need it to e-file. The IP PIN (Identity Protection PIN) which is a 6-digit number that the IRS provides to taxpayers to validate their identity. If you are required to use an IP PIN to file your taxes, they won't get accepted if you don't have it. You will have to mail your return.
Refer to the following TurboTax Help articles What's an IP PIN? Do I need one? and How do I get my 6-digit IP PIN?

The Internal Legal Memorandum (ILM) is basically an internal legal advice document for the IRS's use. It is not a binding document for courts. So, the IRS may or may not accept it as a position taken on the tax return. One important item of that memo is that the investment must have been made with a for-profit motive in mind. As opposed to buying crypto so that you can pay for pizza with it, for example. Thus, if you go that route, make sure that you have substantiation to show the IRS your intentions behind the acquisition of the crypto. Another option is to treat the loss as a worthless investment (if it was an investment) and take a capital loss on your tax return. The deduction will be limited to up to $3000 a year (the remainder carried forward). @taxtattoo @rinkuamit

Go back into your return by logging in and selecting 'add a state' to open it up. Then go to print and save all worksheets. Once saved, look for the state info worksheet. Section VI should have your direct debit information and date selected. If you forgot to select a date, then 4/15 will be the default. Note: Even though 4/15 is the default date, it can still take a few days for an auto draft to occur.

It would likely be "earned income", but it depends on what you are answering. Is this a TurboTax question?
Did you receive a Form 1099 from the company or a W-2? Are you an independent contractor?
If you are an independent contractor you would have to file your income on a Schedule C with your Form 1040.

Are you in the Filing process and referring to the 6-digit email verification code so you can continue to efile? If so, you have to leave the screen open that requests the code while you use a different browser tab, different window, different browser, or your phone to check your email to get the 6-digit code, then go back to that requesting screen you left open to enter it. If you close the initial screen, the code will be seen as expired or not valid.
