Paying the fees did not file your tax returns. Did you go all the way through the FILE section and click a big orange button that said "Transmit my returns now?" Did you get the emails that told you if your return was accepted or rejected?
Did you e-file? Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?
https://www.irs.gov/refunds
Or does your account say “Ready to Mail?” Or “Rejected?” Or “Printed?”
Note: If it says “Rejected,” “Ready to Mail” or “Printed” that means YOU have to mail it yourself. TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you.
If you realize now that your return was not e-filed successfully, then you will need to file it by mail. E-filing is permanently closed for past year returns. You will need to print the return, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.

What is your question?
Please clarify what type of 1099 form you have. There are over 20 different kinds. There is no plain Form 1099. All 1099 forms have one or more letters after the 1099. The most common are 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B, 1099-NEC, 1099-R, and 1099-G. Unemployment compensation should be reported on a Form 1099-G. If you have a 1099-G, which box is the income in?

I upgraded to Premium Live and still got no help with over 1.5 hours on the the phone with an expert. They still would not acknowledge this glitch, even showing my screen where it clearly shows no way around the review error. I'm so frustrated and now will have to file an extension. I have spent hours on this and I have already spent a long time doing my taxes and don't really want to start over with someone else. I guess I should have earlier.

Mortgage interest comes on a 1098. You will have to tell the program you have a 1098 with your name to get the information on your Sch A itemized deductions correctly. The program questions do not go to the IRS, just the forms so you can lie to the program.
You will need to keep proof of the interest and tax you paid with your tax information -in case the IRS asks.

Check with your state to make sure they received your tax return and it was processed before amending it. You can use this article to track your state refund to make sure your return has processed by clicking on your state. How do I track my state refund?
I would wait until it is fully processed in case your state makes an adjustment to your tax return. Once it is fully processed, if your state did not make corrections to it to reflect your estimated payments then you can amend your state tax return.
You can try calling your state's Department of Revenue for more information: How do I contact my state Department of Revenue?
To Amend your Tax Return in TurboTax (Form 1040-X):
If you used TurboTax Online, you will
log in to your account.
On the "Tax Home" screen scroll down to "Your Tax Returns & Documents " and
Select the year you want to amend
Select "Amend" (change); return dropdown, then
"Amend using TurboTax Online"
Continue through your screens and make the necessary changes
Answer all follow-up questions carefully
If you used our TurboTax Desktop (CD)
Open TurboTax Desktop for the year you are amending (i.e. if you are amending a 2023 return, you must use the 2023 software)
Select “Amend a filed return” under "Need to Amend a Filed Return?"
Select "Amend" for the return you want to amend (if it is not an option select "Find a Tax File")
On the screen "Do You Need to Change Anything Else" make the changes you need to make
Answer all of the follow-up questions
Follow the TurboTax prompts to prepare your amended return
Select "Save as" from the "File" menu to save a copy of your amended return.
If you are amending your 2024 tax return and you filed your original 2024 tax return in TurboTax you will be able to e-file your amended return. There are some circumstances where you will be unable to e-file your amended 2024 return and you will have to mail it in. TurboTax will tell you if it has to be mailed.

I have Windows Home and Business destop version that I bought last year. And still can't e-file state or federal. Software is looping, insists on e-filing. And on submit says, last days was in Oct. 24. Advises paper filing. Then insists that I must e-file then after going through all the verifications and credit card info, says you should mail your returns. Round and round it goes.
