You will not be able to import the transactions into the software. You will have to split the transactions between the returns on how you agree to split them. Unless you live in a community property state and then they will have to be split 50/50. You may also run into the IRS sending a discripenacy notice based on how the financial institute reports the transactions to the IRS. If both Social Security numbers are listed they IRS may not understand why there is a shortage on the return. If you wish to continue to file this way you will want to contact the payer to see about having the accounts split.

For IRS Schedule K-1 (1065), at the screen Enter Box 20 info, select code Z Section 199A information. A value does not have to be entered.
Then click Continue.
At the screen We need some information about your 199A income, click the box to the left of the item to be entered. An entry box will open. You may be entering:
Ordinary business income (loss) from this business,
W-2 wages for this business, and
UBIA of qualified property for this business.
The preparer of the Schedule K-1 and attachments should include the information that is to be entered. These values are needed for the qualified business income deduction to be calculated.

Wait for the return to be fully processed and then amend to add the SSA1099. Do not amend until the IRS has processed your return in case the IRS catches the mistake and adjusts it for you.

I converted my home from personal to rental in the middle of the year. I entered the days in rental and personal in TurboTax. Somehow then it is trying to prorate most of the expenses like repairs, painting, supply, ... However, those were for rental only. Any way to correctly report it?

Look at your returns. Sounds like one of you filled separately and the other jointly.

Since there were no state taxes withheld on your form, just delete the name of the state shown in box 6 to eliminate the error condition to move forward.

What point do you think we are missing? If you know that there is no sales tax on something why are you asking if you can enter sales tax for that? You can choose "Easy Guide" or you can choose "Enter all my receipts" and total the sales tax you actually paid----if you have a receipt for something that did not include any sales tax then it should be obvious to you that you do not include anything from that receipt. You only use receipts that show sales tax---not receipts for everything you paid for all year.
