I have tried leaving blank and entering 0, but it won't let me do 0 and when I leave it blank it just keeps requiring me to review.

I recently upgraded from TurboTax Deluxe to Premier within the desktop program. I was under the impression that Premier includes one free state return, but I’m still being prompted to pay $45 for the New York state return. Could you please clarify whether this is expected for the desktop version, even after upgrading? If so, is there any way to have the state return included without additional charge?
for example, i need to use Ctrl+C to continue to next page

Hi,    I helped my daughter to file tax return last year. She had a couple of thousands dollar income in 2023. My question is in tax year 2024, my daughter had 0 income. Do I need to file tax for her? She is 17 years old. I didn't claim her as dependent in the past few years.    Thanks, Sean
I don't see any menu option to preview my tax filled-in tax forms.

Do I get to credit for 1/2 of my wife's state tax withheld when married filing separately in AZ?
Tax for Crypto: I just purchase the ETH and withdraw it. I do not make any trading at all.  There is no gain or loss regarding this. Do I still need to report it in the tax?
I'm sorry. It says elsewhere that you list this all on schedule C as a business. Can you clarify?

Hi, im a nonresident alien on an F-1 visa. I received a W-2 based on my job, a 1098-T based on my merit scholarship, and a 1042-S form based on a scholarship stipend that was provided as compensation in the 2024 year.   Now, I used a portion of my income reported in 1042-S to pay my tuition. How do I report that?

I have tried every suggestion I can find in this community.  I can not permanently delete Form 2441. Here is what I've tried: Deleting the Deduction, and then through Tools deleting the form, following ALL steps.  When I review to file, it comes up as incomplete.   -I wanted to delete my entire return and start again, but since I've paid I am unable to.   -There are suggestions to clear cookies and cache, sign-out, login again...tried it and doesn't work. -There are suggestions to go to the Child Care Deductions and select Yes, follow screens to uncheck qualifying dependent etc...this does not work.  I am in an endless loop where it ONLY asks me if I am disabled or a full-time student, then exits the entry screens and back to the main deduction page.  It does not allow me to go through the questions and remove answers. -I have tried new browsers...this does not work. -I have used the search bar, to the "jump to" links in order to get to the questions I need to delete...this does not work. -I have no W2 information as some suggest, as I live overseas and entered my income manually.  So there is nothing auto-populating from a "box 10". As I am overseas, I can not file by mail, and  I can not e-file due to this glitch. I am at a loss of what to do as I've already paid for this and spend SO many hours trying to solve this, where clearly it is a glitch in the system.  If I was allowed to go back to entries and edit it would be fine, but alas this system is not allowing for that. _I've read everyone entry on this community page and none of them are working.  Seems there are MANY with similar issues, when will this bug be fixed? PLEASE HELP

Are you using the Online version or did you but the Desktop program that you download, install and activate with the 16 digit License Code?   If you are using the Desktop program why did you upgrade to Premier?  All the Desktop programs have the same forms so you could have stayed on Deluxe.  And Deluxe and higher come  with one free state PROGRAM download.  Then each state return (including the first one) is $25 to efile or you can print and mail state for free.    Although some stores sell Deluxe without a state for states that don't have a state income tax.  Where did you buy it?  You might just need to update the program and reboot your computer.  Go up to Online-Check for Updates   In the Online version it is called Premium (not Premier but similar name).    How much are you being charged for state?

It turns out that if you are self-employed and contribute to Traditional IRA and then you make a contribution to a Traditional SEP and file married-filing-jointly and the joint income is over $143k, TT will not deduct your Traditional IRA contribution anymore, so that is why you see an increase in the amount of taxes you owe (or a decrease, if the sum is green). You need to dig through the forms in TT to see this. Based on some research online, this seems to be correct: you can't contribute to both Traditional SEP and IRA if the joint income is over $143k. So, pick one, or contribute in Roth.

Clarify please...   I am the senior pastor of a church. I receive a housing allowance and report it as such on my w2 from the church & subsequently report it as such on my personal taxes. I pay all the mortgage, insurance, property taxes, upkeep, maintenance, etc. The house is used a significant amount for ministry purposes in conjunction with the church vision.   If I rent the property to the church, and I continue to pay all the same expenses, would I still have to pay property taxes? The church is established as a non-profit corporation with 25 years of history. It is not a 501c3.   Is there a particular amount or calculation that the church would need to pay for the rent?   Thanks - D
I sold 2 items. I received both of them as gifts and later sold them. How and where do I report them on TurboTax Online? Thanks.

I have a rental where tenant moved out 04/30/2024 and I converted it to my primary residence immediately afterwards. However, I did not actually move in until May 20, 2024.  #1) Is it correct that days rented is 120 and for "personal use during  the year" should I enter 225 days or should I enter "0"?    #2) Under the expenses section, should I manually prorate based each expense based on the percentage of the year it was used for the rental (ex: property tax for the year was $2,000 so should I enter $660 ($2,000 x 0.33?)
