I have worked all year and my daughter is 13 years old but TurboTax is saying I am not eligible, why?

Great, let me know if you receive any responses. Simulating one's expected income this time of the year using the prior year's TurboTax is important to make the decisions such as yours. It also gives guidance relative to withholding Fed and State taxes from RMD's. If you're not aware, withholding Fed and State taxes from RMD's eliminates the need to file quarterly estimated taxes. Withholding enough from RMD's eliminates the penalty for late payment as long as your RMD is large enough. Perhaps you can give me the URL or subject and I can monitor the replies??
We prepared pur taxes and filed an extention. We never submitted and want a review. How do we get it? How do we actually co ta t turbo tax without paying more money?

Thanks again.  I did edit it, perhaps excessively, and posted again.  I'd be very pleasantly surprised if anyone comments meaningfully before I have to sell the stock but we'll see.  That said, I feel pretty confident that you have helped me nail it, since it seems to work nicely in a 2025 simulation via TurboTax 2024; at least until I see what is on the 2025 tax forms from the brokerage and, by then, I should have lots of time to figure out how to deal with things if there is any unexpected information there.
I edited my original post to include the products in the answers above.
You can only import a 1099B in Desktop Deluxe.  For Online you need to use Online Premium.

Is there any workaround?  You will likely need to hold off until an update is available (last week and this coming week being major holiday weeks I wouldn't hold my breath).   The software is typically half-baked until the beginning of January, anyway, and the IRS is not accepting returns until the end of next month.
can i download my investment profit and loss in turbotax deluxe?

Sorry you have to print and mail prior returns now.   And the Online fees are to prepare the return whether you efile or print and mail.   How to Access prior year online returns https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/00/27010 If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2025 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2025. I had to go though about 12 screens. If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online. So you need to make and keep your own backups.   Did you efile?  Paying the fees does not file the return.   Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?   When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.  And check your spam folder for them.   When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  What does it say?
Want it sent digitally as I paid for this service.

LLCs can take many forms for income tax purposes. single-member which is disregarded for income tax purposes. Multi-member that usually requires filing a partnership return. electiion to be treated as a corporation either C or S corp.   There is also the liability issue regarding the vehicle.  In your personal name with personal insurance on the vehicle, you may find that under state law you have no insurance if an accident occurred while using it for business. discuss with the company insuring the vehicle     A w-2 would only be required if you formed the LLC as a corporation.

TurboTax does not  retain copies of your W-2's or your 1099's.   There are no images of those documents stored in the software.  Only the information that you entered---whether you keyed it in manually, imported it, snapped a photo--- is on the worksheets that are part of the pdf of your tax return.     I NEED A COPY OF MY W-2  (or 1099)      W-2's come from employers.  There is not a federal or national website that provides W-2’s.     TurboTax does not have a copy of your W-2—the Wage & Tax Statement—issued to you by your employer, (nor does TurboTax have copies of your 1099’s).   Whether you entered your W-2 by keying it in yourself, importing from a payroll site or by snapping a photo using the mobile app—-TT does not have a copy of your W-2.  If you saved a pdf of your completed tax return, the worksheets will show the W-2 information you entered, but not the actual W-2.      You should always save those documents for your own records. You could ask the employer(s) for copies or you can get a copy from Social Security (for a fee of $62).   To get a copy of a W-2 from Social Security https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501   https://www.irs.gov/help-resources/tools-faqs/faqs-for-individuals/frequently-asked-tax-questions-answers/irs-procedures/transcript-or-copy-of-form-w-2/transcript-or-copy-of-form-w-2     You can get a wage and income transcript from the IRS:  It will not show the actual W-2, 1099’s, etc, but will show the income information the IRS received.  It will not, however, show your state information. It will only show the federal information. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript   Or you can pay the IRS $30 for an actual copy of your tax return which will include copies of your W-2’s      https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf      https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-forms/get-copy-w-2/L8FTim9MO_US_en_US?uid=m68ee4os       You do not say what kind of 1099 information you entered or that you are looking for.  There are over a dozen kinds of 1099's.  A 1099NEC is typically issued by an individual or business for whom you performed work as an independent contractor, so seek a copy from them if you did not save yours.  Many of the other types of 1099's are issued by banks, brokerages and other financial institutions from which you can seek copies.
I have same bug sighting, crash on Done with Income on MacOS Tahoe 26.2. Is there any workaround?
It’s always a good idea to keep business and personal accounts separate.
You don’t have to do anything as far as tax reporting is concerned. You can leave the small amount in your traditional IRA or withdraw it.
The issue is whether the IRS considers that you flipped the house with the intent of making a profit. If so, you are in business and would generate the 1099-NEC. It doesn’t matter that you are an “in... See more...
