We’re currently working on an update for Form 5605.  There will be an update on March 6.  After this day you can go back through your return, and make any changes as needed, then file your return.   If you are using TurboTax Online the program updates automatically.   If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates". If you have any additional questions or information regarding this please return to TurboTax Community and we would be glad to help.

Thanks I figured out what the problem was.  when the software asked me how much my traditional IRA contribution was I entered nothing because there was a second blank below it asking how much of it I contributed during this year for 2025.  I will make the entire contribution this year so I only entered an amount in the second blank.  I should have entered the whole amount in both the first blank and the second blank then the software would have had a total from the first which has to be greater than or equal to the amount I contributed this year.  as I did it originally there was only an amount in box 11 for this year and a zero total in other blanks which is why it was flagged and the software told me I can't have a positive amount in box 11.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.    The IRS states that most federal tax refunds are issued within 21 days of acceptance, however, some may take longer if they require additional review. Also, by law, the IRS cannot issue EITC or ACTC refunds before mid-February. This applies to your entire refund, not just the portion related to those specific credits.   Here are a few FAQs to help you track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"? Why do some refunds take longer than others? What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?
