No. If you bought a vehicle, there is not another place to deduct the taxes paid on your vehicle besides sales tax on an itemized return.
If you are talking about the ad Valorem taxes that you pay for state registration, this would be considered personal property taxes. To enter them as personal property taxes select the following:
Deductions and Credits
Cars and Other things you own
Personal property taxes
To take the deduction either way, you would need to itemize your return instead of taking the standard deduction. Itemized expenses include mortgage interest, gambling losses within limitations, charitable contributions, state and local taxes up to $40,000, medical expenses in excess of 7.5% of your AGI and federally declared casualty and losses.
Then your total itemized expenses would need to be greater than your standard deduction below in order to benefit from your expenses.
The 2025 Standard Deductions are as follows:
Married Filing Joint (MFJ) $31,500
Married Filing Separate (MFS) $15,750
Head of Household (HOH) $23,625
Single $15,750
Blind or over 65 and MFJ or MFS add $1,600
Single or HOH if blind or over 65 add $2,000

@MarilynG1 I don't feel that you've responded to all of my questions and I have some issues with what you are telling me. Perhaps another advisor can weigh in. After dusting the sugar off of your response, the bottom line of your message is: 1. TT has a serious programming error that makes it unable to handle 2 pretty common situations at the same time. 2. TT's advice is to lie about one of those two situations so that TT can process my return. This seems very unprofessional. Also, following your advice results in higher taxes! The second I uncheck the box that says I paid for my premiums out of my business income, my taxes go up significantly. So TT's programming error is causing me monetary damages. Why can't TT just create a patch and fix it? Also, please help me understand your comment about changing my premium percentage. I have been buying TT for over 20 years. This isn't your fault of course, but over the last 2 years, using TT has been a big problem for me because of TT program glitches, which resulted in a huge waste of my time and money. This is TT's core business, and they should get it right. I spent almost $100 for this product last year and this year, and I'm very unsatisfied with my experience. @DaveF1006 @SusanY1 This is last year's disaster: TT Programming problem with self-employed health insurance premium deduction calculation

it's nothing to do with the balance in your IRA that is a common situation. If you have an IRA balance it will affect the taxability of the backdoor Roth as the Roth conversion is considered taken in a pro-rata manner from your pre-tax balance and basis, so some part of the backdoor Roth will be taxable, and the remainder of your contribution will rollover into your basis for future years until you bring the Trad IRA balance to $0. If you are getting an over-contribution message then my guess is you don't have enough "earned" income (W2 etc). IRS sets a contribution limit, but you also can't make IRA contributions (to Trad or Roth) above your earned income. For reference here are the steps https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/retirement-benefits/enter-backdoor-roth-ira-conversion/L7gGPjKVY_US_en_US

10 days would be pretty quick, but possible. The IRS says most people who efile and choose direct deposit will get their refunds within 21 days. Some will come sooner, some later. There are some things you should check: First, if you efiled, be sure your efiled return was accepted. If using Online TurboTax, you can check at the Tax Home page. Does it show as accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or something else? If that showed your return was accepted for processing, you can track your Federal refund at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool: https://www.irs.gov/refunds The IRS normally uses 3 stages: Return received and is being processed. Refund approved. Refund sent and an expected deposit date. If it is being processed longer than 21 days, you can phone the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay. But it's way too soon to phone at this point. IRS: 800-829-1040 (7AM-7 PM local time) Monday-Friday

If you are claiming the AOTC, then you may have to do it differently. But the principal is the same: if you know that the 1099-Q is fully covered by expenses, you do not need to enter it. You can still enter the 1098-T to claim the AOTC, but you may have to adjust the numbers.
The 1098-T is also only an informational document. The numbers on it are not required to be entered onto your tax return. However receipt of a 1098-T frequently means you are either eligible for a tuition credit or possibly your student has taxable scholarship income.
If you claim the tuition credit, you do need to report that you got one.
You claim the tuition credit, or report scholarship income, based on your own financial records, not the 1098-T. In the 1098-T screen, click on the link "What if this is not what I paid the school" underneath box 1. You will then be able to enter the net adjusted amounts paid.
Or if you find it easier, just change the numbers in boxes 1& 5 to what your records show. The 1098-T that you enter in TT is not sent to the IRS.
Provide the following info for more specific help:
Are you the student or parent.
Is the student the parent's dependent.
Box 1 of the 1098-T
box 5 of the 1098-T
Any other scholarships not shown in box 5
Does box 5 include any of the 529/ESA plan payments (it should not)
Is any of the Scholarship restricted; i.e. it must be used for tuition
Box 1 of the 1099-Q
Box 2 of the 1099-Q
Who’s name and SS# are on the 1099-Q, parent or student (who’s the “recipient”)?
Room & board paid. If student lives off campus, what is school's R&B on campus charge. If he lives at home, the school’s R&B “allowance for cost of attendance” for student living with parents.
Other qualified expenses not included in box 1 of the 1098-T, e.g. books & computers
How much taxable income does the student have, from what sources
Are you trying to claim the tuition credit (are you eligible)?
Is the student an undergrad or grad student?
Is the student a degree candidate attending school half time or more?

1. For tax year 1999, I forgot to file a 8606 for a $2,000 after-tax contribution (no distribution was taken). 2. For tax year 2003, I forgot to enter a 401k total distribution which was comprised of 2 different distributions. One distribution was the rollover of pre-tax assets into a traditional IRA that contains only pre-tax assets. The other distribution was a check sent to me for the after-tax assets, which I immediately deposited into a traditional IRA that contains only after-tax assets. Additionally, I forgot to file a 8606. How do I go about fixing this? Do I need to file only the 8606s? Or do I also need to file amended return/s? Or, file some combination of 8606/s and/or amended return/s? Please advise. Many thanks.

yes Turbotax is relatively expensive especially if you just miss out on the Free version and don't need all the features of the higher versions... but "if I can get it done somewhere else I would" - no one is forcing you to use this - there are many other free file options in the market place e.g. FreeTaxUSA https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/browse-all-offers/ as for $40 fee from refund that is an optional service you choose which routes your return through a 3rd party bank - avoid all of these refund gimmicks (5 days early, pay with my refund etc)
