Yes, although we don't know when that update will be released. Georgia is still working on some conformity changes due to the new federal tax laws. As soon as that is resolved, our development team can complete their work on the state module for TurboTax.   Be sure to accept all updates each time you start TurboTax Desktop. If the update confirmation includes Georgia, this might mean you can work on your state return to see if it's ready to file.

Estimated payment vouchers are strictly for your convenience and are not filed with your return, so you can safely disable them without affecting your filing (or simply shred them if already printed).   Open or continue your return. Click on State Taxes tab, and then Click on Edit/Revisit (next to your State return). Proceed through the state interview until "A few things before we wrap up your state taxes" or "Other forms and situations." Look for Estimated Tax Payments, and then Click on Start/Revisit. When asked if you want to prepare vouchers for next year, select "No". If you have already finished your state return, Click on Federal tab-> Other Tax Situations > Other Tax Forms > Form W-4 and Estimated Taxes and make sure you haven't opted into state estimates there.

This will be on your depreciation schedule.   Here's how to get all the forms and schedules.   TurboTax Online: Sign in to your TurboTax Account. Scroll down to the "Your tax returns & documents" section. Select the specific tax year you need (e.g., 2024). Click "Add a State" (you aren't actually adding one, but this "unlocks" the return so you can access the Print Center). In the left-hand menu, select Tax Tools > Print Center. Select Print, save or preview this year's return. The Key Step: Look for a checkbox or dropdown that says "Include government and TurboTax worksheets" or "All forms." Click View/Print to generate the full PDF, which will now include every schedule (like Schedule C, D, or E) and the internal worksheets. TurboTax Desktop: If you used the software installed on your computer, you must open the specific program for that year (e.g., open the TurboTax 2024 app). Open your saved .tax file. Go to File > Print. In the print window, select the radio button for "All forms and worksheets." Choose "Save as PDF" to keep a digital copy with every detail.

This involves three separate entries.     For the first, on your schedule C where you are reporting your self-employment income, you are going to enter the amount that you billed for services that you received the bitcoin for as though you had been paid in cash for it.     Second, as far as the equipment that you purchased with bitcoin - the bitcoin is already shown as income on your schedule C because you put the cash amount that you would have received in as income.  So now the expense goes in as the amount that you were billed for the purchase just as though you had paid cash for it.     Last, you will go to the investment income section and enter the 1099-DA into the system to show the sale of the bitcoin.  You're going to have to enter the price that you paid for it and the date that you purchased it as well as the price that you sold it for and the date that you sold it.  The price that you paid for it is the same amount that you entered above (the amount you originally billed for your services) minus the cost of the equipment that you paid for.  The date that you purchased it is the date that you received it.   When you sold the bitcoin you either made a profit or lost money.  If you made a profit that is taxable.  If you lost money you get to deduct the loss.

I see there was an update available for the desktop version today, does it include form 5695?  My returns rejected, and I did have both energy efficient windows installed last year and some cost associated with tankless water heater install which qualified.  I do not have any electrical sub panel improvements.  I see that line 25a is still blank, neither a yes or no.  Is this still a potential error and will cause a rejection on my returns?

Eligible overtime for the deduction is overtime that is required by the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Generally, that means the "half-time" when you get paid time and a half for working more than 40 hours/week.   This means that if you are an "exempt" supervisory or professional employee, your overtime is not eligible because it is not required under the FLSA.  If you are non-exempt but you are paid more than time and a half, only the half time is eligible.  If you are paid shift differential for working nights or weekends but don't go over 40 hours, that is also not eligible, because it is a contract benefit or employee benefit but is not required by the FLSA.   In 2026, your employer must report any eligible OT on your W-2. For 2025, you will need to figure it out yourself.  If you can't tell from your pay stubs, you can ask your employer.  If you can't figure it out, you may not be able to claim anything.
