You will have to amend the tax return to add the W-2   The Form 1040-X for amending a 2025 federal tax return is estimated to be available in TurboTax on 02/19/2026   You will have to wait for the IRS to either Accept or Reject your filed federal tax return. If the return is rejected you can make the necessary changes and e-file again. If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return. An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return. Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS. See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a current year tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-federal-tax-return-curr...

Overtime may be entered on your W-2 in box 14 and if it is then the TurboTax program will calculate the deduction and enter it on the Form 1040 Line 13b.   If not on the W-2 and you have the overtime listed on your last paystub, then after you complete entry of the W-2, on the following screen check the Overtime box and continue.
Do I just reapply if I can’t add & just do this form added to the other forms? Or this form alone

I am also having this issue. I get this message after attempting to e-file an amended return for 2024:   "Your transmission didn't go through We could not e-file your return for the following reason: The Intuit Electronic Filing Center is closed for the 2024 Personal Income Tax filing season. November 15, 2025 was the last day to file returns electronically."   Does this mean that I have to submit the form in paper format? My initial tax return was e-filed.

I was having the same problem. Kept looking for Merrill Edge on the brokerage list and not finding it, so I kept using Merrill (that was on the list) trying to import my Merrill's 1099-B into 2025 TurboTax. It kept giving me error. I just tried it again but this time I unchecked all boxes that were pre-checked automatically, then I only check the one account that I needed the import for and it worked!
No, there is no coupon code for one of the TurboTax online editions.

Thinking a little more about OP presentation, I'm not clear whether the $3500 probate/legal and $1500 fiduciary expenses described are expenses incurred in 2025 — related to the recovery and interest income received in 2025 from NJ — or are they previously unclaimed expenses carried forward from estate settlement activity years ago? If the latter (old expenses amending a 2020 1041 on the basis of 2025 income), that goes back to tax advice — I have no idea how that works.

Can you post a screenshot of where you are seeing that advice?   While you are allowed a grace period and can choose to take your first RMD in 2026, you can certainly take it in 2025, and you should report it when you take it (you will get a 1099-R for 2025 showing any withdrawals.)

I just started a new 2025 return.  I have entered information from only one document thus far -- a single 1099-DIV- lines 1a and 1b.  When I go to the Income Summary page the amount showing there in the 2025 column is rather different from either of the amounts I entered and it is not equal to the sum of them either.  When I click on the amount showing on the Summary page, a pop-up Amount Description box appears and it shows the amount I entered from line 1a only.   This is the only data I have entered in this form so it is not pulling info from some other 1099-DIV or anywhere else.   What is going on?

That is exactly what I did after selecting Amend a Return for 2025 Business. I entered the actual distributions by partner on the Schedule K-1 Worksheet (Sch K-1 Wks) using Forms Mode.   I entered the Distributions on the left column under the Capital column. However, the amounts entered did NOT automatically transfer to Schedule K-1 Line 19 Code A.  The software created a Form 1065-X and an amended K-1 for each LLC member with the Amended K-1 box checked at the top of each K-1 but did NOT show the amount in the Schedule K-1, line 19 with a Code A. I manually inserted this in each K-1 and provided the amended K-1 to each member to use for their 2025 returns.     I will mail the Form 1065-X with the amended K-1s to IRS. Since this amendment does not have any impact on income, deductions, credits, tax liability, or refund amount, I believe we can file our individual taxes without waiting for anything from IRS.    Thanks
