There are a couple of things to take into account. First, you are trying to enter a value in the place where personal property taxes are reported as part of itemized deductions. This would not be the appropriate place to enter 1/2 self-employment tax because it is not the same type of tax as personal property tax. TurboTax is treating the personal property tax entries correctly.
So, if 1/2 of self-employment tax were claimed on the Arkansas tax return, it would appear as an adjustment instead of an itemized deduction. That follows the same treatment of the self-employment tax on the Federal return, it is an adjustment to income.
However, you stated that 'Arkansas doesn't offer another option to account for it'. There is nothing found in the Arkansas instructions for the state tax return, the adjustments, or itemized deductions to say where to claim 1/2 self-employment tax. If it were an allowed adjustment or deduction, it would be covered in the instructions. There is guidance for claiming self-employed health insurance, but not the self-employment tax.

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:
Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu.
Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website.
Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms.
Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."
Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

Here is how to find and use the bank link feature for your 2025 return.
The link option typically appears after you have finished entering your business income.
Go to Wages & Income and select Self-Employment Income and Expenses.
Click Edit/Review next to your business.
Continue through the screens until you reach the "Your [Business Name] info" summary page.
Scroll down to the Expenses section. Look for a blue button or link that says "Connect My Accounts" or "Import Expense Transactions."
If you already started entering expenses manually or if the business was imported from last year, the "Connect" button might not be there. To get around this you can:
Create a "dummy" business.
Select Add another line of work.
Give it a temporary name and enter $1 of income.
When you move to the Expenses section for this new work, the "Connect Accounts" button should reappear.
Once you import your transactions and categorize them, you can move them to your "real" business and delete the dummy one.

They may be sending letters to anybody that used software that did NOT follow the directions that the IRS about "I" and "O" (don't fill out the form but include an attachment), which includes TurboTax, but it seems unlikely that the IRS is sending notices to people who used software that actually did it according to how the IRS wanted it. In my opinion, it is Intuit who really dropped the ball on this one.

What is the exact app path to adjust either last year AGI and/or change the TURBOTAX 5-digit pin before Efiling? The app does NOT effectively guide me to just reach step prior to triggering the Efile transmit. I am using TurboTax version: Application: 2025.r27.046 Build Date: Apr 2, 2026 at 9:33:33 PM ** The reject error being returned is I. ND-180-01 : Primary IP PIN does not match I reviewed 'Other Tax Situations' section and CONFIRM that the IRS IP PIN has been inputted correctly The IRS website has my AGI displayed as 8-digit (includes '.00' and end) versus my 1040 line 11 has 6-digits (ending with a '.'). Might this be why it's not matching ??? So I want to change the last year AGI to be 8-digits to match what the IRS has online. At the moment, the efile status is 'Pending (which I anticipate will be rejected again bcz some conflict with PIN over and over and over again). I want to review the AGI AND 5-digit PIN details BEFORE the app continues to re-send the Efile tranmit. HOW DO I ACHIEVE THIS? Thank you

If you Efiled, you would have received an email from TurboTax when your return was Accepted. Since you see 'ready to mail' your return may not be been successfully Efiled. Here's how to Check Efile Status.

It depends whether the investment was held long or short term or both. If both then two entries must be completed. See the holding periods below. If only one or the other for both transactions you can summarize one entry.
Holding Periods:
Long term is a holding period of more than one year (one year plus one day) and receives capital gain tax treatment (0%, 10%, 15%, 20% depending on your regular rate of tax)
Short term is a holding period of one year or less and receives ordinary gain tax treatment (your regular rate)
