New construction STR required me to buy everything needed for a guest to stay there from scratch. Are these expenses deductible??

I had a custom home built in 2024. It is used as an STR. I had to buy everything, new, that you can think of for a guest to stay there, comfortably, at an considerable expense.  Items that are more than furniture and linens-items like dishes, flatware, pots and pans, small kitchen appliances, rugs, lamps, blinds, children care items, some decor items, etc.  Also, laundry, dish soap, laundry soap, games, and a huge list of other things (150 items).  Are these deductible? Thanks.

Yes, they are.  Those are expenses for the rental at start up.  Just enter them as supplies and you can deduct them in the year that you bought them.
