I had the opportunity to do work study for the Fall 2020 semester. However, due to the pandemic, I was unable to work since there was no remote options at my university. My university alerted me back in September that they would "replace the Fall 2020 portion of your Federal Work Study Grant with a grant from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund." I'm a little unsure if this qualifies as unearned income (unemployment compensation) or not, so would I have to file for this? Thank you!
