If you are not eligible for the Lifetime Learning Credit, then you can delete your 1098-T or education expenses and form 8863. After you delete the forms you should clear cache and cookies to be sure it is entirely gone. Then go back to your return to continue without going back to the education section.
It is possible that you entered that information prior to entering income that allowed you to claim the credit. The Lifetime Learning Credit is a non-refundable credit. This means you must have a tax liability to claim it. So if you did not enter your income prior to entering your education information, then your ability to claim it may have changed after you entered income. If this is not the case, then you can delete the forms mentioned above and you should be able to proceed without upgrading.
You would see the credit on Schedule 3 line 3 if you received it.
Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return. There could be unintended consequences.
