Why didnt i qualify for tuition and fees deduction

Did my "less than half time" student status ruin my qualification? It was a certificate program, not a regular degree, so there are less classes to choose from.  Also, I have a full time job and can only take on so much at once.

In order to receive education credits, a student has to be attending college full time.  So yes, regretfully, if you are less than half time in college, you will not qualify.  To help prepare for next semester, please see the post below to try and fulfill the requirement next semester.
