Where to enter taxable scholarship/fellowship? Under Education Expenses?

I am an Oak Ridge Institute of Science and Education (ORISE) fellow and I receive a taxable stipend (taxes are not withheld and I do not get a W-2). I am also a graduate student and I received a scholarship from the school. Do I enter that the taxable stipend amount and the school scholarship under Deductions & Credits --> Education Expenses? Or do I have to put the scholarship under education and the taxable stipend under Less Common Income? I had to upgrade to the TurboTax Deluxe to be able to look through the sections on Less Common Income and I still am unable to find a specific section for Taxable Scholarship and Fellowships. Thanks!

Please see the following TurboTax FAQ for information regarding how to enter this information:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3651222

The steps for entering the scholarship amount not included in your 1098-T into TurboTax is as follows:

  • Federal Taxes
  • Wages and Income
  • Miscellaneous Income
  • Other income not already reported
  • Answer Yes to Did you receive any other wages?
  • On the screen for Wages Earned as a Household Employee click continue without entering amount in box  shown
  • On the screen for Sick or Disability Pay click continue without entering amount in box shown
  • Answer Yes to Did you earn other wages?
  • Choose the option Other on the Enter Source of Other Earned Income screen
  • Then you will enter SCH in the description box and the amount
  • Click Done
